Sorry, you cannot process H1 tranfer having being stay in India.The rules says, you need to have atleast 2-3 pay stubs for ur current petitioner. That means, initially you should have US employment.Getting H1 approved and visa stamped means you are permitted to work in US for specified time period. You haven't got ur US employment, untill unless u entered in US and start working for ur present US employer.

Successfully H1B stamping in Chennai consulate on 30th Nov
Hi to all,
I attended the chennai consulate on 30th Nov.My appointment time is 12:15,i reached the consulate at 11:30.On that tday the interviews are delayed by Half an hour i joined in the line by 12:45.It takes nearly one and half hour to enter in to the first building.In the first building Indian officers chk all the documents like DS-156,157,I797,I129 and HDFC bank receipt and put all the papers in a file and gave it to me and told to move next building.In second building first they take the finger prints and asked me to join in a line.Nearly i wait for 2 hours in the line after that i get my chance
1.Vo : Goodafternoon sir How r u?
Me :Goodafternoon How abt u?
2.Vo : Please give me your file?
Me : I passed my file to him
3.Vo : so why r u going to U.S?
Me : To work as a program Analyst in YYYY Company
4.Vo: Are u masters are Bachelors?
Me: Bachelors
5.Vo: From which school u got the Bahelors?
Me: YYYY University sir
6.VO: Can i see u'r Bachelors degree?
Me: ya sure sir and i passed my certificates to him.
7.Vo: For which employer u r going to U.S and how many are working in tht company?
Me: I am going for YYYY comapany and the XX are working in tht compnay.
8.Vo: Tell me u'r carrer back ground?
Me: I explained my carrer background and tell him tht iam working in a MNC Presently
9.VO: Can u show me any supporting document from tht MNC?
Me: Actually i was working in tht MNC as a contract employee i told him tht only and he asked me to show my Employeer supporting documents.I passed the documents to him by seeing my Employeer details he satisfied with that.

Is it a problem if we dont have convocation cerificate.
Is it a problem if we dont have convocation certificate.I have provisional certificate.Please let me know as my visa date is on Dec 28th 2006.I have all the marks memos as well.Please let me know whether that is a problem..I have been trying for my Convocation from many days but in vain . I already requested any solution, I mention wrong date of birth. The year 2006.
What is my problem is , i did not find D157 to fill. Because if age is below 15 and above 55. No need D157, i think, Because of that i did not find D157 fill. Is there any way to change my date of birth. Any of you faced, like this problem share your experience

Query regarding offshore H1 transfer
Hi Friends,
I got my H1 in Nov 2006 thru my existing employer(Its a big MNC). In the meanwhile, I got offer from another well known MNC recently.
1. Can this new employer transfer my H1 from my existing company while I am in India?
2. If the transfer is possible, how soon can the stamping be re-done?
3. Will I have to get the original Notice of Action from my existing employer for the transfer?
Kindly help.

It didnt took more than 10 minutes for my interview.
Below is the list of questions which I prepared before gng for the intw. I prepared this list after browsing through the different posts in this forum. Thought this will be helpful for those who are preparing for the Intw. Be prepared with answers for all these. Practise it 2 - 3 times before gng for the intw.

Hi All,
The helper/assistant boys at consulate tend to panic you.. be calm.. they create unecessary tension. People who deserve visa will get it easily.. Process is simple at Mumbai, very few questions about project and experience..
One more caution ..Telegu people are flooding Mumbai consulate.. very soon process will be made strict..
