Refused under 221g after dropbox

i appered an interview on 9thNov06 they issued 221G on Wages report, and they told to use drop box. So i drop all marked documents on 8thDec. I got My passport back on 14thDec with one letter states that
Based on the documents you have submitted to us, and the information elicited in your interview with an american consular officer, you do not appear to be qualified for an H-1B temporary work visa.
In accordance with United states law and Department od State guidelines, action on your case has been suspended, and the I-129 Petition for a Non-Immigrant Worker filed on your behalf will be returned to USCIS woth a memorandom explaining facts of your case as presented to us at the time of interview. The US Consulate in Chennai is no longer handling your case, and will be unable to give you any information on the state of your petition.
Your visa was refused today under section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act(INA). Essentially, this section states that a visa cannot be issued to anyone whose application does not appear to Consular Officer to meet the requirements of the INA or of the regulations thereunder.
? Will this is rejected or under 221g

221G case after droping
Hi Freinds,
Pls help me, I attend interview at chennai consulate in nov 9th, they issued 221G (wages report Through Drop Box ), so i dropped all required documents which he marked, i got my passport though courrier with out stamp and one white letter, they mensioned two words one is refused and second is today we are suspended u'r visa under 221G case. whether they refused or still in 221G case.

Additional Administrative Processing Blue Handout..Please Help!!
Hello Experts...Please advise me on this:
Mine is an unlucky case..wherein I have all the documents in hand
more than which others had and who got their VISA stamped..
For me it was interview on Nov15th.. showed them all the documents at interview.. I dont know what doubt she had in her mind..she asked for additional documents from my employer..giving me a blue handout..
I got all required documents from my employer and dropped them On Dec06th..Today I got my 221g courier back but now asking for a blue handout stating:
'Your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made. This office will contact you once this administrative processing is complete.'
They mentioned not to contact the Consulate regarding this case status.
Also they have taken the DS156, 157, I797 original documents and some of the original documents provided by my employer.
I need advise on the following points:
1) Did anyone face a similar issue to my case (Additional Admin Processing) either this year or pending since last year?
If so how long does it take this to happen.?
I know we cant predict this but how long does it take...any idea?
Can i expect any success in my case?
2) Can I do a H1 transfer now to any other employer? Or cant I do that unless I get a reply for this case?
3) Can I apply for next year's quota with this case pending? Am asking this because I dont know how long it would take for me to expect a reply from the Consulate!!

Hi all,
I have attended my interview today at dubai consulate. I have submitted my all H1B documents I got token number. once I called for Interview she ask me to submit all originals what ever I have I have submitted then she called after 3 hours on same counter she interviewed for 30 mins . at the end she said we need to enquire about your employer, their website is not informative, once its done we will communicate with you through phone. can anybody post reason!
she hasn't issued any query forms. she said once the enquiry is over we will communicate with you through phone she had taken UAE and India phone numbers also. I want to return back to return back to India

first of all, i wish to extend my thanks to all those who had posted their experience.. it was very helpful to know the procedures ..
mine was a really smooth interview with only few questions regarding my husband's job and earnings... I had taken my two kids and the vfs guys are helping a lot .. no standing in queues, get straight to the counter for both finger scanning and also the interview ..
its only important that u carry the required documents and produce what they r asking for..

Regarding Visa Appointments.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your mail.
If you wish to cancel your appointment, you can cancel a maximum of THRICE. After your third cancellation, your receipt will be deactivated for 90 calendar days. You will not be able to take a subsequent new appointment during that period.
Your fee receipt issued by HDFC Bank is valid for one year from date of issue and if this is your SECOND cancellation, it can be used for subsequent new appointment within the validity period of the receipt. If this is your THIRD cancellation, your HDFC Bank receipt will be activated after 90 calendar days. You will then be able to take subsequent new appointment provided your HDFC Bank receipt and your appointment is within the one year validity period of your receipt.

The questions are going like in this way between me and the vo officer.

Sucessful H1 B interview
Hi guys,
Firstly, All the Best.
Ok i had my interview on 12 Dec at Mumbai, and it was a sucessful one. You have to know few things that were not known to me.
1 Carry a plastic bag or a folder which will help you in producing the documents easily, as you will have to stand when being interviewed.
2 Carry all relevant doc,namely I 797B, I 129,LCA, USCIS Tax Returns, Employers client list, Strength of employees in your US firm, Photos of their office in US, Offer Letter, Letter to the visa section from your employer.
3 Be very calm, polite and have patience.
4 Remember 95% of H1 B gets approved, so do not panic.
Now let me share my exp with you
Me: Good Morning, How are you?
VO : Fine, How are you?
Me: Fine,Thank you very much !!!
VO: So what is your profile going to be?
Me: I answered, (remember answer accorrding to your offer letter and LCA.
VO: Tell me some abt the US Company?
Me: I answered, please do your homework on that.

VO: Is this your fist time to us?

VO: What are your qualification?
Me: Bachelors in Engineering (Dont give more details like your feild,college or university) Let them ask you
