I have missed out writing AISSCE (12th) in the DS-157 in the "Course of Study" column of the Educational Institutions Section. The PDF documents have been generated. Please let me know if it is ok to make this entry in Pen (What color ink?) or do I need to cancel and apply again ?

Hi all
i attended US Interview on oct 16:
actually they don't have mood to issue H1 visas in chennai.
they are playing games with our carear.
eventhough i bring all documents they kept queries to me.
i already shown tax returns of petitioner, still they kept query on that one,and they kept query on internal and external photos ,but he didn't ask those photos i already having with me.

my suggestion is to please go to Delhi or Bombay.
if they redirect then u come to chennai.
because chennai counsulate officers doesn't have the intension to issue visas.
either u go to other counsulate or drop u r intension to go US.

H1B successfully stamped
Hi all,

I would like to thank each and everyone of you who shared their experiences out here.
This site really helped in getting my questions and doubts clarified very clearly and get myself prepared for the interview.

Please write your passport number and name in pencil at the back side of your 2400 Demand Draft.

I would like to narrate my experience out here. Before that please see the list of documents.

Please makesure you have the following checklist before you go for the interview.

Mandatory documents:

HDFC Receipt
DS forms ( make sure you type everything properly. Please do not leave anything blank. For certain questions you cannot type anything. no problem. take the print out and write in black ink as 'NONE'.This is very important)
Original H1B petition

LCA(Labour Condition Agreement)
I129
Appointment letter(US employer )
Reference letter from client
w2 forms ,lease agreement, income tax filing papers of Us employer.
your employer photos
Your current employer's appointment letter xerox.
Degree certificate xerox
Degree marksheet xerox
Relieving letter of your previous employer
payslip for 6 months
bank statement
updated resume
photos of current employer
Certification courses certificate xerox

Supporting letters:
Keep the originals of all the xerox mentioned above
Your US employers brochure
current employer photos.business card

If you are previously to US then have the W2 forms , Payslip , SSN xerox(if you have one)
I94 xerox.

I have taken all the documents.

My visa interview was on Oct 10th 11: 15 am. I reached by 10 which is ofcourse very early. I would suggest go one hour before since they are allowing only according to the slot. I waited till 11:15.
Please be confident and keep cool. success is yours.

Once the pre screening is over you will be given a green folder which will have your passport with Demand Draft stapled in the last page, DS forms, Original petition approval and lca. The rest you will have it in your file. I had totally three files. Mandatory document file, supporting document file then this green file.

I waited for fifteen minutes. in my panel the lady was approving all the Visa. She gave immediately to almost everyone.
My sincere advise is don 't get disappointed with the surroundings. Just relax and answer appropriately.Don't answer too much.
Here the interview.
1) why do u want to go to US?
I am going to US to work for ZZZ(my us employer name)

2) What is your educational qualification?
I have completed my Bachelors in Engineering with specialization in information in technology

3) can I see your Degree certificate and Mark sheet?
I showed.

4) She was seeing those for few seconds then said " your visa is approved mam"
I said thank you and came off.

Be confident.Practise answering the questions on your own. They are there to give you visa. Its you who need to be confident. don't worry. all the very best.
