Visa interview exp
This is for H4 Visa, happened last year. During pre screening, the people near at fees counter written some thing on right top corner of DS156 form.
During my interview, VO saw that comment 'no BEP letter' simply asked two questions,
1.where is your spouse?
Ans: At so so place, US.
2.Why did you not go with spouse?
Ans:This is the earleist date I got..
simply he took one paper and asked me to bring BEP letter, though the company does not come in to the category..
Next day I submitted the letter stated that this company is not a BEP comp. The people at prescreening again wrote in the same area of DS156 form loke 'no BEP folder'
Folder means just nothing but our ordinary folder, I said them the company is not in BEP then why you're writing such kind..
They said either you've to go inside to meet VO or can leave.. this after after one and half hour. I talk to senior person (people at pre screening)in a strong under standing way..
Then senior explained to junior VO, after Junior VO listned all I can't takeup this case only Senior VO. This pre screening Senior person explained to Senior VO
Now Senior VO came back to counter with cheerful face and sincerely told the following words..
Sr.VO : Sir our people troubled you.. sorry..
Me : I just smiled.. said it's OK..
Sr.VO : Our crew is handling 1500 cases daily but our capacity is only 400 to 500 cases..
Me : He saw & typed for 10 mins at his moniter
VO : He asked around 5 to 8 Questions..
About my company where I am working..
Vo : Do you aware that H4 can covert H1..I said no.. then
VO : There is facility do u interested..
Me : I said No.
finally after this kind of questions he accepted and said all the best.. my exp is if you have all supportive documentattion then success is yours!
Ofcourse to get Visa I did little hard work, it may not be possible for everyone..
It's surprising our own pre screening people, neither they understand nor they know.. they behave like uneducated..

Hi,
My VISA has been approved and it has been more than 3 days since it has been approved and i have not got my passport when i called the VFS they said that they have not got my passport from the consulate.Did anyone came across the same situation..please advice.How many days does it takes to get the passport ?
I have paid my fees in counter no1 in chennai consulate.

Guys if you remember sometime back i was asking some questions about 221(g) and about the process.My VISA has been approved.Thanks for the wonderful inputs given by the members.I got 221(g) 3 times and at last got the stamping after a big wait.There is no other questions being asked other that the questions which is posted in this site.

I appeared for H1b visa in Dec 2005 in Chennai. They have asked me to get the client letter. I took the client leteer in month of Apr2006. They took all my documents(giving my passport,education certificates back) and told they need to do administrative processing. They called my H1b sponsor company in US and also called the client. they both confirmed that i have job in US. now they sent me an email asking me come to consulate office again on any monday morning.
they asked me to bring foll docs
1. passport
2. all experience leters
3. education certificates
4. visa issue fee.
What do u thnik that they will look for now. anyone has similar experience please let me know.

Approved H1B After 221g on 11th of may
Thanks to this site which helped me a lot to face my interview succesfully.
My Ist interview was on 18th of april,As i have carried required documents ,but I got 221g asking for client letter & project discription.
Again I attended on 11th of may after getting the required document from my employee, but there was no question from VO ,Just by seeing the client letter(even He has not seen the project details)VO said to go & pay the fee.Realy I was confused again I asked SIR,he told mam ur visa was approved go & pay the fee @ counter No1.
So friends its depends on luck & also the GOD can help us @ that time.
Thank u friends once again,which the site helped me to face the interview to get VISA succesfully.

regarding fee receipt...
Dont worry abt that. But you have to pay the fees again and get a new receipt. And mention the old receipt number also in the time of interview. Call any embassy for more details
