Aadhaar card needed for passport renewals?
I'm trying to renew my Indian passport which expires in February. The online application on Indian government's website will not let me proceed without providing an Aaadhar card number. I haven't been to india in 10 years and don't have one. When I tried to apply for an aadhaar number, I was told that I need my PAN number which I also don't have. When I try to apply for PAN number, they insist on me providing on Aadhar number. I haven't been able to figure out (after hours of google search) on how to obtain either while being an NRI in the US. Can someone please help me? I just want to renew my passport and it seems impossible.

Passport Date of issue is mentioned wrongly
Hi,
My passport is getting expired on August and submitted renewal application to Atlanta jurisdication.
While printing documents i relaized there is wrong in "Date of Issue" field . Now i dont have option to edit the field.
I tried to contact CKGS through email and calling to call center but there is no response.
I tried to submit new application but CKGS website says my application with same passport number is in progress and its not allowing me to submit new applicaiton.
Any one in similar situation? what would be best action i can take now.

CKGS Houston with pre paid shipping label
Hi,
I’m trying to renew my passport with CKGS Houston but my address is not being recognized as residential by FedEx and hence not able to use their courier process. I have reached out to CKGS but they haven’t replied.
My questions are as below
1. I am assuming I need to send the return shipping label with an envelope
2. How will UPS pick up from CKGS, since they said they will not drop off at provider since it’s not FedEx.
Any help on this would be super helpful.

Forgot to stick the barcode on passport application envelope
I forgot to stick the barcode on passport application envelope. I followed up by writing to passportusa@ckgs but got no response. I am worried about the application getting misplaced/delayed due to that. Does anyone has any experience with that or know the impact of it?

Houston Passport renewal Status not updated as received
I applied for my passport renewal and sent all the documents to Houston ckgs application center on 26th May, the Fedex status says the parcel has been delivered, but still till today ckgs portal don't show the status as received. do any one on the same boat?

FedEx "Shipment exception Delay beyond our control"
So my to my pleasant surprise, my Passport has been renewed within a week and shipment sent out to my home through FedEx.
To my shock I am seeing
"Shipment exception
Delay beyond our control" in Atlanta GA, with no timeframe as to when the package will be delivered.
Not sure what in the world is happening at FedEx Atlanta GA, I hope FedEx doesnt lose both my old and new Passports..
Anyone ever faced this issue with FedEx? Not just for Passport, has anyone ever faced the "Shipment exception
Delay beyond our control" with FedEx for any other items... I have never faced this issue with any couriers in the past.. so am a bit nervous..
