L1A abd two L2 are approved in Singapore
I got lot of help from this site. So I decided to post my visa interview experience also. Thanks for all posts here.

My appointment was scheduled at 9:45 AM on Tuesday 24th July 2012. Since my son is 19 months, only me and my wife were required to attend the interview.

We reached venue at 9 AM itself and they allowed us to go in through VISA queue. As advised by my lawyer, we did not hcarry any electronics gadgets, so nothing to deposit at security. At security, they checked appointment confirmation paper and let us in. Inside at visa section, we took the non-immigrant visa queue number from queue machine. There were 8 counters. Our number was called at around 9:30 AM at counter 1. The officer took all documents prepared by my lawyer.

The documents were in order and VO kept all of them in a plastic file & kept them with her. Also she gave me a new token number and asked me to pay USD 500 to fee counter. There was no queue at fee counter, so payment was done in couple of minutes.

Next, my number was called at 10 AM at counter 3. The officer took left and right hand thumb impressions for both of us. Again, we waited for actual interview. At around 10:30 our number was called at counter 4. The interview started:

Me : Hello, Good Morning.

VO : Good morning. Please give me visa fee receipt.

Me : <Passed 500 USD receipt to her from the gap in glass window>

VO : How long are you working in your current company?

Me : 5 years and 3 months.

VO : How many kids do you have?

Me : 1 son

VO : When did you take Singapore Citizenship?

Me : 1 year ago in June 2011.

VO : How many people do you manage in Singapore and how many are you going to oversee in USA?

Me : 6 IT professionals in Singapore and 3 IT professionals in USA.

VO : <puzzled and asked again> How many in USA?

Me : 3 (three) <taking assignment to manage less employees was not obvious. But that's how my company works. They have least employees in USA, more in Singapore and abundant in India / China / Poland etc>

VO : <Looked at computer screen and spent considerable time in updating the data.I already observed that she stamped visa approvals on my papers. Then she started talking with her colleague for a while>. <After a while, looking at us> your visas are approved. You will receive them in 3 days.

Me: <Happily>Thank you very much.

There was no question for me wife. Then we came out directly. I checked my watch after coming out and it was 11:00 AM.

L1A Blanket - L2 Approved
It was a good experience at the consulate. Reach the front door/security gate of the consulate just 15 mins before your intrvw time.

You will be allowed inside after gettin a token from the security gate..you will see you token no in the screen. You will finish your documentation and biometrics. You will be asked to go to another building for DD submission/HDFC receipts and for the interview.

Greeted the VO. Always ensure to do so and also maintain eye contact.

Prepare a good JL and carry your CV/Org chart. Speak what is mentioned in your DS-160 form and the JL. Have the originals in a separate folder (just in case the VO asks you for supporting documentation about your degree or previous employment). Pls don't get carried away by the rejections in front of you. I saw number of people from my own company that day in the consulate - the person who was interviewed before me was from my company and was rejected. The VOs are cool and pretty straight fwd - if you are not clear pls ask them - they don't mistake us. They try and give you as much chance as possible to prove your candidature.

Questions asked in intrvw:
1. Which company and how long with the current company?
anything >3 yrs in the current company is a plus (1 yr is just a criteria) for L1A Blanket
2. What is your current designation? Better if you are not a front-line manager.
3. Where are you going in the US?
4. What is your client name?
5. How many reportees? If you have more than 20, it will boost your chances
6. How many in the US - direct and indirect?
7. Are they individual contributors? I had both Managers who manage people under them and also individual contributors
8. What is your salary in USD?
A six fig package will increase your chances

To my wife:
1. When did you get married?
2. Is it love or arranged?
3. Where did your parents meet him?
4. How old is your son? Is he your only baby?

He was typing something all through the interview. He ticked the approved box in I-129S and mentioned to us the golden words "Your visa is approved sir" and you will receive the PP in a week. I thanked him back and it took us some time to sink in that our visa's were approved

Thanks to Immihelp.

Thanks to this forum, my L1B Blanket visa got approved on 13th July 2012 at Chennai Consulate.

Interview:

1. Where will you go?
2. What will you do there?
3. What is your current role?
4. What is ur exp in this product?

And she said "Your Visa is approved and you will get it in 7 days"

Tips:
1. Start early, however you will be allowed only before 15-20 mins. I was stuck in traffic jam caused because of new film release (Billa 2) :)
2. Be in formal, tie is not important.
3. Know and check all your documents and photo, however they arrange the documents before you go for finger prints.
4. Keep some cash, they might ask for another photograph and difference in DD amount, keep around 5k with you.
5. Dont take any bags and mobiles. Just the docs and ur wallet.
6. Read all the experiences in this forum if you can.
7. Most important ur Specialized knowledge, you should be able to explain also. My company does take mock interview which also helped me a lot.

Thanks and best of luck :)

L1-L2 Got Approved
My interview was on 18th July 8.30 AM for L1-B,reached over there by 8 after waiting outside for 30-40 mins entered the consulate office.
I had a shock of my life when the guy checking my documents asked me to provide 2 sets of I-797 but I had only one with me.
He asked me twice and checked bunch of docs I had with me that time, then he checked petition number on his computer and asked my company name and spoke to some other guy over phone.

I was very nervous at that moment but he stapled my docs and told me to proceed further. I reached the main interview lobby after giving my finger prints.
Then deposited my DD of 29k to one of the counter and got a recipt then walked to the waiting area.

After 5 mins one of the VFS guy asked me to join a queue.
The VO officer was a young lady and looks very rude no expression on her face.

She was rejecting peoples before me.

I approached the counter along with my wife and …..

Me: Hi,Good Morning
Vo: No reply
Me: Docs given
Vo: Visa category
Me: L1-B
Vo: Which company
Me: YYYY (it’s a US based well known product based company)
Vo: How many years in this company?
Me: 4.5 years
Vo: What you do for them?
Me: Explained in 2 lines
Vo: was checking something on computer and wrote something on I-129 petition, then she put our Passports into a tray near to her desk, that’s it I knew what next she is going to tell.
“You will get your passports in a week time”
Me: Thank you.

No question to my wife.

Mine was intra company transfer so it was pretty easy for me.

ALL THE BEST GUYS !!!!!

L1 B Rejected on 16th July
Questions asked were as mentioned in the site:

How many years with the company?
What do you do for the company?
How many Years with the client?
Who is the client?what they do?
What you do for them from India?
What is your specialisation?

he checked his monitor for sometime and then told Not Clearly Approvable as these days it is very strict for L1 B .

Justification letter seems to have good role in deciding the Visa along with the Luck ,hardwork and confidence.

I went with Kid and husband.
