My Interview was scheduled in the morning, it helps ease the nervousness to check in early.
I was called @ Counter 6.
VO:Hello Ma'am, Good Morning!! How are u doing today?
Me:Thanks.. I am doing fine!
VO:Your Visa is still valid, Why are you applying for a new Visa?
Me:Earlier Visa was filed for YYYY Client and now I will be working for YYY Client.
VO(Looking at the system):SO What is your specialisation?
Me:Answered
VO:How long you worked for YYYY Client?
Me:1 Year 9 Months
VO:Are you travelling ALone?
Me:Yes
VO:Any of your family members will join you there?
Me:No
VO:Your Application is approved.. Have a pleasant stay in US!!!!!!!!!!!
Me:Thank you!

Hi,
My interview took only 10 minutes...
The questions asked were:
1.For which company r u going to US?
Told the company name
2.What is ur specialization?
3.Is there any competitors for ur company?
I said no
4.How many people work in India for ur company?
Thats it...He has been typing something throughout the interview.
Finally he told I am approving ur visa...
No questions to my wife.
Be confident and pray well before appearing the interview....

L1b-blanket-Approved @ Hyderabad.
guys..before me was a microsoft guy who nearly cleared the interview in 2 mins:).
Just dont look at them and give ur best.
mine was 15 min duration interview...questions asked were mainly due to specialisation stuffs..Main point is we need to convince the Officer sitting at the other end:)only then we will be granted.
Questions:
1.which client and company u belong to?
2. specialised in?
3. why you are required at us?
4. whats ur Role?
5. why cant u do the same work from India?
6. once again about the specialisation:(( sort of stress interview:)).
Finally heard the words. ur visa is approved:).

Me: Merlin application with Tera data database
VO: typed something and verified and said that Teradata is not a specialized skill
Me: I have worked on automation of different kinds of applications like windows,web based application,Mainframe ,ERP application..
VO:Are you skilled in development or testing?
Me: Testing
He typed something and then gave me the blue slip that it is not clearly approvable.I did not understand why Automation is not specialized skill.He is telling that there are many Testing professionals in US...

L1-B individual visa approval
Hi, Can anybody tell what is the approval rate of L1-B individual in Delhi after L1-B Blanket rejection?

My L1B visa rejected. Will my H1B visa approved ?
Hi,
My L1 visa under blanket petition got rejected last week. They gave me a Blue slip with "Clearly not approvable" reason.
I explained them that i am going for Research, Development and Maintenance of **** project.
the VO told me that we cannot go to US for maintenance projects.
Now my company decided to apply for H1-B visa.
Will they ask me why my L1 got rejected ?
And what is the probability of H1B getting approved ?

Hi, I cleared my L1B on 22nd July at Hyderabad Consulate. Thanks for this site which helped me to prepare well for the interview. I got the below questions;
1) How long you are working with abc company ..?

2) Which client you are going to work for..?
xyz company
3) How long you are working in this project..?
This is the first time I am going to work for them
4) What you are going to do for them and how it will be helping them ..?
Gave brief about specialized skill and roles, and the benefits of the tool
5) What was your role brfore joining abc company ..?
blah blah blah
6) How did you become expert in this skill..?
told about the 3 months training I got in abc company and the experience and profficiency in the specialised skill.
7) Why they selected you for this role..?
explain the reason.
8) Your Indian Salary & US Salary..?
Given the details
9) How long you working with abc company ..?
(asked second time)

Answer the questions loud and clear. It took an hour to complete the entire process. My schedule was at 8 O' clock and they will allow us to enter only by 7.45. So no need to go early and wait there outside. They will allow only before 15 minutes from the time slot provided. Also do not carry mobile, any kind of electronic items, keys, coins, leather bag etc. Only take the documents folders in a cover.
