Hi all,
My wife's L2 dependent visa application was rejected in New Delhi Embassy.
I am in US on L1 B Blanket visa. I went to US after marriage my wife didn't had passport at that time so she didn't applied for visa with me
These questions were asked to her:
When you got married?
you have marriage certificate?
MArriage date is different and marriage certificate issuance date is different.
Marriage album?
25 photos are not enough where is your complete album.
Wife's birth certificate.
They just want to reject visas for any reason.

You should always remember for L1B Blanket - You are unique, no one else in U.S/India similar to you..
So, my company applied again, with updated Support letter, this time more info
the following paragraph in Job Description of support letter added my chance to get it Approved
"<company> <team> posted this job opening last year and received over 30 applications from candidates both inside <company> and outside
<comapnay>; <my name> was the only candidate to pass the full interview process."

we have attended interivew on 16th Jun, i would like to share my exp with you all.it may help you till some extent.
my slot was at 8 AM ,i have reached consulate by 7:30 AM... after all formalities i faced VO at 10:45 AM.
discussion:
1) We both wished him
VO: what will you do in US?
me:little introduction about my company and explained about my expertize on xxx product and finally i told "i was choosen to imlement this new product at client which will be major change in YYYY X system of my client"
2)VO: what will be the change?
This is what i have expected 2nd question from him
me: explined as i have already prepared for it
3) at what stage that producct is when you joined your company?
me:xxxxx
4) how long you are working for this company?
me:xxx
5)how long your are working for this client?
6)what are the other clients which are using your product in US?
me: ZZZ,ZZZ
7) who implemented there from your company?
me: i could able to convince him with my answer.
finally he stopped questining me and asked my wife about marriage details.
finally he said it's approved
suggestions:
1)be prepared and say confidently even if you are not sure about the answer which you are giving
2)don't use much technical words,you can explain him with examples but they may ask you questions from that example be prepared for that
3)look into his eyes and answer.
4) keep saying till he stops you.

He asked me 2 question only,
1. How long you with ur company?
2. What you do ?
He was not listing to my answer and gave me a blue slip and rejected.
It seems that they are not interested to give L1B visa to any one b'cas before me he rejected 3 more people and just asked one or 2 question to everyone.
Can anyone tell me whether the Visa fees is refundable or not , b'cas I gave them two DD 105000 and 23500 Rs.

The question asked were usual ones like the job profile/ current exp with the client etc etc - I observed that the blue slip was kept ready even before the they asked the quesions about my job profile.
There were no detailed questions asked on the role profile etc.. and it was over in less than 5 mins with the final response that I should get back to my HR department for any further details.
Queries:
They have not asked me to submit any documents, do I still stand a chance for re applying or re checking if my organisation can check through my attorney the reason for rejection.
