H4 approved
I had my h4 visa interview on july 6th at the chennai embasy
The interview was very cool
she just asked me two questions
1. where is your husband working ?
2. Can you show me some pay stubs ?
thats it and she said your Visa is approved and you will get your Visa in a weeks time

Thank god, it went through well..but it is so nervous till you listen from VO that 'Your Visa is Approved'
Questions are pretty much same many of us listed for L1A but your answers should match to the VO criteria for approval.
Your overall Exp, Current Org Experience, Your visiting client Exp matters...if you have already visited US better highlight your role and responsibilities. Your managerial / executive decisions should come out clearly. All the best.

L1-B blanket got denied by a blue slip
I did lot of ground work for getting my visa interview thru.. but luck hadn't favoured me.My company had appled for an L1-Blanket for me and L2 for my wife and kid. But it got denied on the basis of my experience with the current organization..
Actually everything went well eventhough I had a damaged passport, but the final and important step failed...
Me: Good morning Sir
VO: Without any wish he said, could you give me your passports.
I had given all..
VO: So, How much experience you are having with current organization.
Me: 16 months
VO: It seems you had travelled to onsite last year right?
ME: Yes I travelled for two months on my B1 visa
VO: That means you had just over a year experience in current organization.
ME: (With doubt, I smell he is predecided).
Yes.. But I had 16 months experience.
VO: Tell me about your specialized skills.
ME: I started explaining about the skills and how it will help my client.
VO: Who is your client?
ME: I had repled
After a pause,
VO: what is your Indian salary
ME:Told what ever I am getting.
VO: We are sorry sir, you are not eligible for blanket petition, given back the passports, by removing the Mrv slips attached.
And also given blue reciepts stating that my Visa is not clearly approval... ask your organization to apply for L1 individual or H1-B
I really don't know why this happened to me? All the world went black with this.. VO should know these days companies stopped doing H1-B and L1- is also time taking proces.
I should desperately looking for onsite oppertunity, it is very required at this stage. Could any one suggest me after what time can go for Blanket visa again.

L1B Rejected
My L1 B got rejected and stamped with "NOT CLEARLY APPROVED".... VO asked me 'I'm rejecting ur VISA this time and ask your employer to apply L1 Individual or H1B'... they didn't even listen properly my specialized knowledge.

My L1B blanket visa was rejected on 7th Feb, 2011 since VO said I don’t have specialized knowledge. After that my company is applied for L1B individual visa. I will be appeared to interview soon. Can anybody suggest what kind of questions they will be asked and what is the chance for approval for this time?
