I had an appointment at heyderabad consulate today at 8.15 am,
I reached at gate at 7.15 am (1 hr b4 the time)
Almost 200 peoples (all type of visa) were ahead in Q.
I entered inside at 9 am, no use of coming 1 hr b4 the time. It started fustrating.
10 am, I proceeded with BEP cover, the first process (I have been appointed for L1B visa offcorse) Then again Q for security check followed by fingered print process.
Clock turned 11.30 am to get token number (btw I left my room 6.30 am bcoz consulate office was far from hotel) finally 12 pm I faced VO.
NOTE: - I described all the process especially for those who are willing to go to Hyderabad.
People from Mumbai, Calcutta, Cochin, Delhi (unavailable dates) and Hyderabad itself are Coming to Hyderabad for stamping that means 4-5 times more public at one consulate. They have no option but balance the ratio of approvals and rejections.
Just request u guys be prepared mentally for all this hectic schedules and big big ""Q"".
Unfortunately I was not prepared. Cool mind till last is the key for win. I must say.
Thanks for immhelp for this forum, all the question are there which we need to prepare.
Now real story begins.
I was told to go one of the counters for final VO meeting.
4 people were ahead, 1st one was for extension: - only 2 questions were for him last client and duration. He got approved the visa.
Then next girl was from very reputed firm, been asked, how differs u and ur company from others as applied for specialized visa?
She gave perfect answer but VO was in diff mood, said its rejected, she replied with question mark but VO got angry and started little shouting...
We, behind her lost the confidence... then next guy also been asked with same question and got rejected even the answer was quite convincing...
I lost at all myself, got blackout on mind...next was me, same question how differs u and ur company from others as a specialized one?
B4 i start 2nd sentence of my answer he said sorry, its rejected. (May be he saw in my eye that I lost the control on answer due to recent picture)
After me 3 guys came out with passport from same counter, total 6-7 rejections in a row, with only 1 question. All of us were from a very reputed firm.
Few suggestions from my side.
1) prepare at least 3 diff answers for every question posted on this forum.
2) Be prepared mantely for hectic Q in all process. And delays in VO meeting.
(I dont blame to staff or process, actually number of applicant got raised 5 times more at Hyderabad.)
3) Do not be upset with what is happened with person b4 u (I was prepared but lost the control and 4got to make good start)
4) 90% post has a particular order of same question, but dont expect that, VO can ask u last question directly and it can be first and last for u)
For e.g.: he may not ask u, ur company, client, project, exp, etc... He can ask u directly specialized skill of u and ur company. (I was not prepared for this, so i request u guys, do the mock as much as u can when u have time)
5) if possible take ur answers verified by ur seniors, colleagues, dont make the generic one.
6) Dont be tense and dont start talking fast, though he looks in hurry he will give u time as u want.
7) And most most most important thing ""LISTEN THE VO'S QUESTION VERY CAREFULLY", HE MAY ASK U IN VERY TRICKY WAY OR TWO QUESTIONS TOGETHER OR IN VERY LOW VOLUME" I MADE THE MISTAKE AND HE TOLD ME AFTER REJECTION THAT HE ASKED ME TWO QUESTIONS TOGETHER AND I HAVENT ANSWER FOR 2ND ONE" I DONT WANT U GUYS MAKE THIS SMALL MISTAKE AND LEAD TO REJECTION, SO PLEZ BE CAREFUL (IF U R NOT CLEAR WITH QUESTION THEN ASK HIM AGAIN AND ALSO ASK TO GO SLOW)
8) DONT BE VERY TOUCHY WITH THIS EVENT, INDIA IS GREAT COUNTRY, DONT BE UPSET ON REJECTION IF ANY, BUT DONT 4GET TO SHARE UR
EXP WITH OTHERS... LET OTHERS BE PREPARED WELL AND GET APPROVAL...
9) Body language and confidence is must but when VO is in mood to talk with u at least.
For that, just listen his first question very carefully and answer on his ears and brain as
Well 
10) Have faith in god, he will do best for u, whatever it is.

I had my L1 B interview on 6 june at 08:15A.M at Chennai consulate.
Every process went smoothly and was in interview at 09:00 A.M
Questions asked:
1) whats your onsite role
2) Your Specialized skill
3) Why only you
4) Which Client and Project team size
for all the above i answered precisly
Then she said "VISA APPROVED "and passport will be delivered in 2 working days.
Preparation is critical ,eye contact is key with being confident, and dont over hear any converstions in next counters, remain calm and the day is yours.
Thanks to the forum which has been highly informative .
I went to Hyderabad for my L1A renewal as my company preferred to file a new L1 blanket instead of an extension in US.
Interview:
1.How long have you been working with your employer?
2.How long have you been working in Project Management?
3.What was your earlier visa - L1 A or B?
4.Who do you report to? what's his designation?
5.Do you have people under people reporting to you?
6.What's the team size?
7.What are your day to day duties? VO grilled a little more on this to understand what kind of work etc.
8.Are you going back for the same client?
9.Location of client?
visa was approved

Pls Help, going for L1B. Husband on L2B. Husband has B1 and will expire on 18Jul
Hi Friends,
My company is processing L1B for me. I will have interview this month end. My husband has B1 visa, which will expire on 18 July 2011. Now, he is also going for L2B, along with me.
My doubt is, will there be any effect on L2B stamping? i.e., will he be rejected L2B or anything like that?? If there is any such possibility, can I go for interview next month??? Please help, because, I need to book the interview date now. :(
Hi Guys,
I have my visa interview tomorrow at the US Consulate in New Delhi. I had got the appointment for this interview on 12th May. So people who started looking for dates will need to be patient as they are already full till the end of next week.
Dates are available for B1 through BEP login since yesterday, but not available for L1 through BEP in delhi consulate. Please let us know if there any update for the same
