N0 questions to my wife.

Tips: Prepare and have answers for the common Qs, they may/may not ask them. But prepare and make sure you answer them confidently. Don't lean on the counter, or fold arms. Stand as tall as you can, balance your weight between your legs evenly, go with a positive mind, Smile and dress professionally.

Your Documents, in particular Cover Letter, I129 and DS-160 are very important. Spend time on them and prepare them well, every word in it matters.

Makesure you highlight your strengths in some way -- those could be more expr in particular domain, propreitary tool etc

All the Best!

L1B Blanket Visa Approved @ New Delhi on 4/13 (I am posting it little late)
Hello,

I had my PA schedule at New Delhi US Cons. It was on 13-Apr-2011. I am posting it little late but this might help you.

Status: Approved

Straight Questions (and my answers in brf) Asked by VO:
1. Which Company you will work for =>My company (and not my client)
2. Whcih client => (I gave my client name)
3. How much experinace you have => (6 years)
4. What you will do for your client => (I gave 2 line description about my work - very crisp and clear (I practiced this on previous day so it was easy coming out of me)Advise: Answer should make it clear to VO that it is about specialized skills. Each and every answer should finish in not more than 10 seconds.

Counter Question asked by VO (on my previous answers)
Question: Your client is big company (my client is telecom company and its big ~ $30-35 Billion worth and VO was aware of that) and they already have many skilled employees in US. Why they need you?
Answer: ( I was not prepared for this question and I had to frame my answer on-the-spot) I said that our client had approched our company for consultancy purpose; my company provides solutions to thier biz problems; exisiting system is not far scalable and has plenty of manual interventions; so I have been placed at this position to provide solution to them from my company.

VO approved my visa at this time.

To all who are going to goto new delhi for visa interview:
-Be confident and be fresh
-Dress up well (I had put tie on my shirt)
-Prepare well for all basic question on preovious day
-Do not hear the conversation taking place on interview window between VO and other applicants (that might make you nervous if his/her visa gets rejected - trust on your preparation)if you can not avoid that conversation then start counting in reverse from 150, 149, 148, 147....till 0
- Even if you do not get visa then its not the end of the world and you will have another opportunity
- Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst

Thanks
