Green card expires same month/yr as my status time?
Hi my green card will expire March 2020
I applied for citizenship April 7, 2019
Biometrics completed April 29, 2019
My status is showing 10 months March 2020 the same month my Greencard is due for renewal? My field office is Indianapolis, I am concerned how close these two are, if by chance I am denied citizenship, which I do not foresee happening as I have been a lawful resident here since 1965, I am a registered nurse and have had several federal background checks for my nursing license as well as a former flight attendant for a major airline, and ave never been in trouble with the law?
Does anyone have thoughts about my concern related to time frame?
Thanks

A very long road to a happy ending
One of the main things asked is how long the process will take and we worry endless when there is no movement on the case for a long time. I want to share my experience so that it will hopefully help someone who feels they are in limbo with no end in sight.

I paper filed in May 2015. I received an email confirmation that the application was received and accepted on 5/26/2015.
My status changed to interview scheduled on 5/3/2016 only to receive a call two days before the interview on 6/16/2016 stating that my appointment was cancelled because it was double booked. I would receive a new appointment letter.
I heard nothing and received nothing for the remainder of the year. I tried calling but as you know the customer service really doesn't have any information that you can't see online. In February 2017 I scheduled an infopass and was told that my application was still pending the FBI background check and I just had to wait until they got it back.
By then Trump was president and the crackdown on immigration had started so I just left the issue alone. I had diclosed 3 very old misdemeanors for pot paraphernalia that were deferred adjudication but feared they would be more harshly looked upon with the current administration.
Then on 3/26/19 I received a letter with an interview date of 4/16/2019. I was super nervous still and very concerned that I would not be approved.
I showed up early and the IO called my name right at my scheduled time. He was the nicest man and helped me relax right away. Not sure if it had something to do with the fact that he was retiring in a few months because we talked for more than two hours and only spent 15 mins going over there application and the Civic test. He gave me the approval notice and said that it's taking several months for the oath ceremonies in San Antonio to be done.
I asked if there was anything he could do to help me get in sooner. He said he would check which ceremony he could get me into. He called me back about 30 mins after I left and said he had gotten me into the 5/23/19 ceremony and that I would receive a letter with the details.
I was so happy and relieved after waiting so long to finish this journey.
I impatiently waited to see my status change to in line for ceremony which happened on 4/18/19 and on 4/24/19 it updated to oath letter mailed.
I received my letter on 4/27/19 and I will be attending the 5/23/19 judicial ceremony since I am getting a name change.
It has been almost 4 years to the date and I feared the worst many times along the way. I hope my experience gives others some solace whose application is taking a long time that it doesn't mean something is wrong. Most likely your case is just stuck in the bureaucratic process.

Good luck to everyone.

'Scheduling an interview' notification........08/01/2018
'Interview Was Scheduled' notification......03/22/2019
Interview....................................................04/30/2019

I am currently waiting for Oath Ceremony Notification. My case took pretty long but at no point I made any inquiry or did anything else. I did call the USCIS office a couple of times when it was still in the normal processing time but after that I just let it take its time.

My wife and mother also applied along with me, we all got finger printed at the same time. Their Interviews were scheduled pretty quickly and they had their Oath Ceremony on 09/20/2017.
