I have a peculiar case. I have graduated from one of the universities of USA then while my opt was going on i shifted to Canada for higher studies. Now i am in Canada on student visa. Can i apply for tourist visa will it be accepted as my sibling is in states just one hr away from border and working there on H1B?

Question on B2 visa
Hi I am currently on H1 visa in USA. I am planning to invite my inlaws and sister in law to US. Is it advisable to schedule a interview for 3 of them together ?? My father in law have business and sister in law working in a law firm, Please suggest.. Is it ok to schedule the interview together for 3 of them ?..

B2 visa for a bachelor
I am a bachelor aged 28, Pakistani national residing in Saudi Arabia since 25 years. My experience for B2 visa at the US consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia was as follows:
I was standing in the queue and the VO just called me and immediately asked which cities you want to visit, without saying Good morning and neither replying to my good morning.
VO: Which cities you want to visit ?
Me: Newyork, Niagara falls, Houston
VO: What is the purpose of your visit ?
ME: Well, the purpose is to visit and enjoy my holidays
VO: For how long you plan to stay there ?
ME: I have got 10 days off in February so i have planned for 10 day... VO interrupted while i was saying
VO: OK, OK, With whom you are travelling
ME: I am travelling alone
VO: Do you have any relatives there ?
ME: No.
VO: were you born in Pakistan.
ME: Yes i was
VO: Since when you are in Saudi Arabia ?
ME: More than 25 years
VO: Waoooh Where do you work ?
ME: I work in an MNC here in Jeddah sincd last 5 years.
VO: What is your current salary:
ME: My Salary is XYZ.
VO: Who is sponsoring you ?
ME: I am going there by myself
VO: Can i see your bank statement
ME: Sure, here you go, he reviewed my bank statement and looked as if he was not impressed by the average balance. However, the closing balance was very good,
VO: Can i see your Company letter
ME: Yes sure, here you go.
He pronounced my position mentioned on the Company letter and cross checked the salary that i told him in the previous question.
VO: What does your company do ?
ME: Well, we have four main functions and i am employed in the XYZ role in XYZ function and .... he again interrupted while i was speaking. i got an impression as if he dont want to listen or just asking questions for the sake of doing his job.
VO: Where have you travelled before ?
ME: Italy, France, Netherlands, Malaysia, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain. he again interrupted by saying Ok Ok when i was saying the names of these countries. But i completed it.
He then kept n typing for 2 mins and then handed me over a white paper 214(b) by saying your visa is refused. I said ok and walked off without saying even a single word.
Overall, the VO was not listening properly and was interrupting again and again by saying OK OK.
Can anyone please guide me where i went wrong ?

kindly help, should sevis update from f1 to h1b?
I was on STEM OPT and had received my h1b approval notice in December 6, 2017.
I will be going to India for stamping.
I do not have consular processing, mine is change of status from F1 STEM OPT to H1B visa, is why it is not necessary I go for stamping, but whenever I leave the country(for vacation), I need to come back to US only with H1B visa stamping.
My question is, is it mandatory to have SEVIS update as change of state from F1 to H1B.
Because when I contacted my university DSO, they said they do not see anything on the SEVIS record, meaning they do not see any update on the SEVIS.
But I do have the H1B approval notice received.
Am I safe to go to India for stamping?
Please let me know if its mandatory to see the update on the SEVIS record?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,
I am looking for some suggestions. My parents Visitor visa has been rejected under 214b section. I am looking for applying it again in 1 month time. My father does not do full time job so I marked as 'not employed' in DS160 last time. But he works on commission basis though. Is it advisable to write in new DS160 that he is working?

Hi I have few queries regarding the interview and would prefer experts views/opinions etc.

About Me :
I am 27 (Male) and work as an R&D Engineer in a niche segment of automotive industry (which has limited presence in USA). Extremely happy with my job, good pay and decent bank balance to show.
I have been married for an year and my wife will not be travelling with me (as she recently joined a new company and will be in probation when I am travelling to USA).
I have traveled to Europe thrice on business visits and work permit. I do have a work permit for another 6 months post which i have scheduled to travel to USA for a month (purely for Holiday purpose). I will be staying at my childhood friend's place. Have not taken a break in last 10 years
I have booked to and fro USA tickets (hoping that as one of the assurances for counselor that I would return to India)
I am confident, have all necessary documents including supplementary docs like childhood photographs with friends, my family relations ( joint family pics) etc.
QUERY :
1) What possible questions will be shot at me?
2) What is the probability of getting a US Visa?
