EAD renewal any experience?
Hello,

I filed in march 2018 in San Francisco and got my EAD in August 2018 and will in August 2019. We still did not get an interview.
Is there anyone who renewed EAD on marriage based? Please share timeline
Looks like interview is not coming soon.

Oct 10 filer EAD renewal case approved NBC
Hi

My wife and I wanted to give you guys a quick update because we tracked messages here through the last month and it was very useful.

Our status: I485 AOS pending (interview done last Dec, currently retrogressed) based in CA
- L1 visa and EAD expired November last year
- EAD renewal CR date Oct 10
- 180-day extension ended May 1st
- We took unpaid leaves from our companies (instead of resigning. A lawyer told us we could have used our paid leaves in this period as well)
- We submitted expedite requests (with letters from employers stating they would suffer financial losses if we couldn't work) through our law firm, through our Congressman's office, as well as by calling the USCIS contact center
- Received responses from the latter two
- Case approved May 31st (still waiting for the physical card)

The process is exceptionally frustrating but here's what I learned we need to do differently next time (if we need to renew EAD again next year):
1. Submit renewal at least 6 months before expiry date (track if the 6-month limit gets further extended by USICS)
2. Use paid leave instead of unpaid leave (especially if your company has a limitless leave policy like most startups)
3. Involve the congressman's office early on

Hope this helps. Good luck everyone!

EAD Case approved
Hi All,

I applied 485, 765 and 131 together.
RD- 19-Nov-2019
NBC processing

I got a message on 30-My that my case is approved and my wife got message that card is produced. But still our I-485 is "Fingerprint review completed" . My 131 also approved. Marriage based.

Do anyone have any idea when will I get the card or is the status changed to interview for 485.

Thanks
Manu

Time between EAD approved and EAD card in hand?
Hey everyone,

How long did you wait from EAD APPROVAL to EAD CARD IN HAND? What were the steps in order?

UP TO 120 DAYS FROM APPROVAL DATE TO RECEIVE CARD. This is what they state when I try to make a service request of card not delivered.

The reason I am asking is because it's been 72 days since I was approved (got approval notice in mail) and I still don't have my ead card and no update. I called uscis multiple times, every time they told me something different (They honestly don't know anything! They have access to the same information we have online and nothing more). This is why I reached a tier 2 officer, which told me to just keep waiting as NBC is the busiest of all.

I never received the message 'Card was ordered for production' and i am a little worried.

My case was received on 12/27/2018

Filling from Florida. With i485 category c9

I wish you all the best!

Thanks in advance and feel free to ask any questions.

Applying from NJ, case is at NBC

When I applied, the website said that the processing time for EAD is 5-7 months. A few days ago it changed to 6-8. Which applies to me?

This is insane!!!
Uscis received my i 765 on November 5, 2018. 3weeks ago i called the uscis to follow up my ead card because i need ead card to get driver's license and i have been locked up in our house for 10 months now and i couldn't go anywhere by myself. I can't even go to school events of my son and my husband is busy working during the day. This is crazy!

So i talked to uscis agent and she told me the processing time for my case is 7 months and if i still did not receive my ead card in first week of june just give them a call.

Today, i checked my case status and no changes. Looks like we have to wait more than 7months so i checked again the processing time for my ead and i saw there is a new processing time which is now 6months to 8.5months isn't crazier?

November's still waiting..
I ha've been reading a lot recently fillers of his year requesting for expedited or inquiry to congressman..and this n that ..summiting documentation of financial lost n this n that..while we are 200 days of "PATIENT WAITING " if have no reason to provide financial lost or just because we wants things quickly that's no work like that I know immi has a lot of work to do and they are taking long but we still under "NORMAL PROCESSING TIME" clearly than that ?? We just have to wait little bit more at least after the normal time because that delays more the process of the applications that are submitted from last year .
Be right WE ALL NEED this process to be quick and WE ALL WANT our documents in our hands every one has some emergencies ,and needs ..and I ha've been seeing people just applied 2 months ago and trying to expedite new..come on!!! Learn how to be little PATIENT.
