AP approved, No change on EAD
i-131, i-765, i-485
PD 08/02

This morning my i-131 was approved, but still nothing on my i-765. Does anyone know if this means my EAD will be approved soon? At least there has been some kind of movement.

EAD Approved - 90 Days
Hello all!

I am so so happy and feel relieved! My EAD has been approved after 90 days (since USCIS received it)! This was all I wanted for Christmas!

Below is my timeline:

August 29th - Applied I-765, I-131, I-485, I-130
September 4th - Notice receipt from NBC
September 21st - RFE for medical (Doctor used an old version of the form)
October 2 - Biometrics
October 9 - My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, all other forms show “My case was received”.
November 7 - Filed a request to expedite by EAD due to financial loss
November 8 - Receipt notice for expedite request
November 15 - Called in for an update on the expedite request, she did not have an update for me so she filed another request to expedite
November 15 - Sent email to congresswoman via webform
November 29 - Submitted request to meet with congresswoman
December 3 - Filed a request with the Ombudsman
December 3 - Called Congresswoman’s office to place an inquiry
December 4 - Received response from Congresswoman that she is waiting for USCIS to respond
December 6 - Lawyer received notice that my EAD was approved!

I checked online and it does show “My case was approved” for both EAD and Travel Document on December 3. Now I am waiting for the EAD on my hands, anyone know how I can find a tracking number? Or when I can expect the card?

It's easier said than done, but just be patient! Also, be proactive when you can, anything helps (as long as it doesn't hurt your case!)

Wishing everyone luck!!! I continue to pray for all of us!

Marriage based GC to USC (Lexington, SC)
Applied on 11/25. I don't know the process. What will i receive the first? Is it the EAD or AP for Travel? If so how long will it take? Will i get the EAD & AP after the biometrics and Interview? Or will i get the EAD & AP right away before the interview? Please advise. Just a little confused guys. Any suggestions are welcomed and much appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Received SSN but no EAD Combo card for my daughter
Hi,
I have completed most of the process for GC (EB1) i.e. EAD received for me and my wife, Interview conducted for the family (myself, wife and daughter) and all approval notices received for I-765, I- 131 etc for myself, my spouse and my daughter. Only thing missing is the EAD combo card for my daughter. The system shows that her I-765 and I-131 is approved on Oct 15th 2018 but no trace of EAD card yet.

I called the customer service and they asked me wait for 60 days after Approval date i.e. till December 15th. Further the representative told that they would be able to raise the inquiry post 15th December.

Please let me know if you have seen cases like this where the process is almost complete with all the approvals and even SSN is delivered and there is a pending EAD.

I got worried because I have out of country travel planned on 31st January and this not having EAD card for my daughter will jeopardize everything.
Please suggest if any resolution in sight.

EAD C9 I-845
Hi all,

This is my timeline so far (concurrent filing)
11/7 - USCIS receives package
3/12 - BIOMETRICS app
6/12 - 'Fingerprint Review was Completed' (case updated on my EAD)

I am currently on a J1 expiring end of January 2019, and I'm thinking of asking for a EAD expedite based on financial loss to the company and myself (I have the letters ready). However, I don't want it to be denied - especially if I apply for it too soon.

Is this a good sign? that they completed the fingerprint review 3 days later? Should I just be patient? Based on what I read on various forums, it seems as if 'letting it be' works better than doing too much calling around.

Appreciate your thoughts, folks!

Timeline
Ok so I can share my timeline with you guys

Pd - July 31
Fingerprints - August 27
Sept 15 case is ready to be scheduled for interview.
Then nothing.
My i131 and 765 was stuck on case received.
Oct 24 called to expedite my ead
Oct 29 they send me an email asking for evidence. Unfortunately it went to the wrong email address. Nov 1st Called USCIS to see what’s the status because I didn’t receive anything. That’s when I find out that it was send to the wrong email. Tier 2 officer promised me that he put for request to fax me the letter first thing in the morning. When I didn’t receive it I called them again November 2nd - another officer opened case inquiry. Then nothing I was calling them so many times I even spoke with higher officer he suggested to send information without the original letter and on the cover explain the situation. That’s what I did, unfortunately no luck. I was suppose to give the answer to my future employer by nov 23. So Called again November 27th really aggravated with this whole situation was ready to raise my voice and that’s when the lady stopped me and said your case was approved today. I was like oh okay. Received approval notice dec 1st. Today received as in the mail and got notification that my ead card was picked up by usps and will be delivered by Friday.
I don’t know if that was the expedite thing or not but finally something moved!

My expedite status is still “not assigned for processing”
So maybe it was just time. Idk.

Urgent Help
Hi,

I sent my application packet with I130,I131,I485, I765.

PD: Oct 29
Biometrics: Nov 27
Expedite #1: Nov 27 (Based on financial loss to company)

I got a reply from USCIS that the fingerprinting hasn't been completed so your case is on hold. I called customer service and they said its because the system hadn't updated the biometrics on the same day and to call back after 5 days.

But the USCIS website states that your expedite request is complete.

What do I do? My current OPT EAD expires in two weeks.
