So I requested to expedite my case last week, and today my case history says "On June 27, 2018, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited." My question is, where should I be looking for the response??

EAD for 1yr?!
I received my ead card and it is good for just 1yr. Is that the norm?
I will have to re-apply for renewal in December since I received in late June. Does that sound correct, since it is taking 6 months to get the EAD?

Time Line for EAD/AP
So I finally got my EAD card yesterday!!!!!!! I was always reading this web so that I can able to get some experience and timeline info from others. Now I think I should do the same so that people who need help can also read my experience.
PLACE: New York City.

03/06/2018: Case received.
03/20/2018: Got my Receipt
04/06/2018: Finger Print Notice
04/25/2018: Finger Print Done
06/19/2018: New Card Is Being Produced on USCIS
06/25/2018: Card Was Delivered to Me By the Post Office
06/26/2018: Got my Combo EAD/ AP card in the mail
06/27/2018: Got the 131 travel document approval notice in the mail.
Total waiting days: 112
So I was so happy to get the physical card, since my O-1 visa only has one week left, and I was invited to a university to teach, they asked for the EAD card, and I have been waiting. If I did not get the card, they would move on to other people, so I feel super thankful. I don`t know if getting married, H1B or other visas will be a different timeline to get the EAD card. My lawyer told me it would be around five months at the beginning of this year, so she said they did this super fast on me, and I went and checked EB visa EAD, and other people`s timeline is around the same.
I started to check every day after I got the job, and began to check it too often almost obsessed with it. It made me panic, so I understand what people are going through here. My happiest moment was when I checked one morning; it showed card being produced in the morning, as I just checked the night before, I think they change the status in the morning. I got my card, and I wish everyone who waited for a long time could get it at once.

Also filed Ombudsman form and congressman's office submitted an inquiry and still no response from both of them. Now there is nothing I can do anymore. Please give me some advice.

unpleasant experience
Just called USCIS, and talked to probably the rudest officer I ever spoke to. He was literally shouting, it was so bad that I felt I need to end the call so I don't get abused more.

120 days for card delivery??
Finally after 277 days I received this status update-
We are producing your card and will mail it to you
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will mail your Green Card, employment authorization document (EAD), or combo card (EAD and advance parole) to the address you gave us. It may take up to 120 days to deliver your new card.
how long do they actually take to deliver the card???? Why does it say 120 days Did someone receive a similar status update on their i765 recently? Thanks for all your help

they are playing tricks and games
I honestly think that USCIS approves few applications that were filed recently to bring down their horrible processing times. Say they approved 100 cases that have been pending for 10 months, then they go and approve another 100 cases that were filed last month, to bring the the avg to about 5 months.

After 298 days I got my EAD ,Thank You God and universe to make this happen .here is my timeline

1st SR on December 1 2017
Response automatic answer still reviewing.
2nd SR February 15 2018
Same Response still reviewing.
3rd SR on April 15 2018
Response still reviewing will take action shortly.
4th time I called and asked for L2 officer and after 2 hours I got call and he said we still reviewing your case we don't know when someone gonna open your file but if you keep calling and asking for your case then it's not gonna help you ,it's gonna happen according to the work load so have patience and let us do our job.(very nicely he explained all this to me)
And then I gave up I let them do their job and I Never called or expedite anything .

Just waited patiently and leave it up to god believe me it wasn't easy for me but I believed very strongly on my God and universe I knew it one day it will happen and last week from no where I got status change notification came up on my app !!freak me out .
So guys please believe in your self and try what ever you got to do but never lose hope.. believe in god ,it will happen when your time comes!!!
