EAD renewal case C08 update
after 230 days (7 months and 16 days) of waiting i finally have my card on my hand. my timeline is as below

case received: April 11
raised first SR: June 30
Second SR: August 15
Third SR: October 10
Case status changed to card in production on November 17 and received card on November 27

I don't know if it worked for other people but calling and raising SRs is absolutely useless. it's better to call congress and look for someone that will actually listen to what you have to say. I did call congress and they were really welcoming and nice to talk to even though my card came before they intervened.

unless there is a known problem with your case, all you can do is just wait it out.

EAD Approved
08/30 -Marriage based, I-485,765 and 130 received by USCIS
09/18 - Bio
10/05 - Request for evidence for I485
10/15 - Evidence received
10/25 - Contacted Congressmen regarding I765, I had a job offer letter. I been in a F1 visa and was doing an Internship as part of my CPT.
10/30 - Congressman's office submitted a request for expedition
11/15 - EAD approved
11/22 - EAD in hand

I would suggest contacting the Congressmen's office if you have a job offer letter. You can do that after the 45th day of USCIS receiving your packet. They will ask you to scan or fax the job offer letter and a privacy release.
Also you can sign up for USPS Informative Delivery, where you can see what coming on the mail.
I was so stressed out about this but its finally done.

Non delivery of card
Hello

I’m in the same situation as tkg below but worse. Had a change of address which didn’t go into effect until
after the ead card was mailed out. So the card went to the old address. My husbands card finally got forwarded to our current address after 3weeks but mine is still missing. The tracking has stopped giving me updates since 11/18.

Since it has been 4weeks I was advised that I can place an e-request for non-delivery of card. Because of thanksgiving I have to wait until next monday but I was wondering if anyone has done it and know
what the process is. It sounds like it is different from getting a replacement for a lost card but I cant find any information about what to expect. I was supposed to start working 11/1 and if the card had arrived on time I could have started working. With this ridiculous wait and endless phone calls to USPS I’m anxious to know how long it takes to get a new card if I go through the e-request for non-delivered card. Please advice if you know anything about the process . Thank you!!

EAD not delivered
Hello Friends,

My EAD card got approved on November 6th and on Nov 9, my online status changed to Card mailed to address. This is based on marriage to a USC ( Filed 131,1765 along with 485).
I even received the approval letters after 3 days of approval.

However after 2 weeks of status saying card mailed, I haven't received it. Called USCIS several times asking for tracking number and they said they dont have it.

I am very concerned about this. I did an address change but USCIS didn't update it properly, so EAD is going to the old address , and i setup USPS informed delivery to my new address so i can't track the mails going to old address anymore.

I need your advice on this. Is there anything I can do.?

I-765: Nebraska SC (C09)
PD: 03/17/17

Case Received by Uscis : 07/05/17

Fingerprints completed: 08/03/17

SR submitted by lawyer: 10/17/17

SR Response: 11/06/17
They responded and said they’re working on the inquiry and should receive a response in 60 days. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to follow up again until the 60 days have passed, but hopefully the EAD/AP gets adjudicated soon.

It's been 140 days and my online case status has been the same:

"My Fees Were Waived
On July 5, 2017, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxxxx. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

I am not sure if this is a default status or some system error. Has anyone seen this kind of status i.e. "Fees were waived" this long?

I wish best of luck to everyone waiting here.

Happy Thanksgiving All.

Cheers!

Are the processing times wrong?
Under the California office it says they are only processing applications from June as of today, but going though these posts one person who applied in August already has there card?

I received notice 2nd September for the California Office.
Does anyone have any experience with California, I have only been able to find one person who was routed there.

I am applying for a renewal to my EAD.
