NBC mailing address
Please help if you received an EAD card through the National Benefits Center (NBC)!!

My EAD is lost in the USPS system and I am trying to claim it as a missing mail through the website. To ask to return the mail to the sender I need to know the exact mailing address of the NBC located in Lees Summit (Zip 64086) <- This is the only information I have from the tracking number.

If anyone has received the EAD card from NBC, might you be able to check your envelope and tell me the exact mailing address listed?

Thanks so much in advance!

EAD
Hi All,

After a long long long wait, on Nov 9th USCIS approved my I-765 and mailed my card.
I received my EAD card today. Its unreal to know after 240 days waiting i finally received my EAD.

I was giving up hopes and losing my mind.

Even though i am still waiting for my I-485 i feel a little relieved.

Please be patient and make sure to put in SRs and contact your Congressman (unfortunately they weren't any help in my case but you never know).

I will keep you updated about my i-485. Good luck to you all!

EAD based on marriage with an E2
08/21Applied for EAD - California Center
08/23 received notice
11/03 receive email that they are producing my card
11/08 receive email that the card was mailed
11/10 received my card in the mail

I want to tell you that the status on the website is not always up to date and also I didn't receive a tracking number. I know how it feels to not know and lose control but my advice to you is to be faithful and don't lose it. It will come and every case is different.

Hope all get their card fast.

EAD based on I-485
I submitted I-140 on June 2017. My I-485 application was received by Nebraska Service Center on mid July 2017 along with my I-765 application. It has been 4-months since then.

Receipt numbers they sent are not working on the online status check. I haven't received my EAD card and I have no idea about the status. I have an appointment early this Thursday in their local office. I was thinking that I will receive the EAD card in 90 days. It is quite frustrating.

Path to EAD
Service Center - Texas

7/12/2017 - I140/I485/I765/I131 NIW - received by USCIS

7/18/2017 - NOA received

8/9/2017 - Biometrics done

9/25/2017 - 1st SR at day 75 for EAD

10/7/2017 - Response to 1st SR received -If you do not receive a decision within 60
days, please contact customer service.

10/16/2017 - Expedite request based on a current job offer

10/17/2017 - Denied due to not enough supporting documents

10/18/2017 - Met congressman with job offer letter from my company and another letter from my supervisor. The office of congressman put an inquiry on behalf of me, told me it will take at least 10 business days to hear from USCIS.

10/31/2017 - Followed back to congressman office, they were really helpful to make so many calls to USCIS and finally got a message my case was assigned to an immigration officer.

11/1/2017 - EAD approved (110 days in total)
11/2/2017 - EAD produced
11/7/2017 - EAD mailed
11/9/2017 - EAD received

During the processing, I called to two L2 offices and told me that TSC is crazy backlogged with EADs and may take more than 120 days to get a decision. Please make sure to put an SR immediately in 75th day and follow up with your congressman if you do not hear anything from USCIS after 90 days.

May triple gem bless you all and hope everybody will receive their EADs on time.
Let me know any help you guys need.

H4 Ext and H4 EAD
Hello All,

My Attorney had filled H4 Ext separately from my H1B ext. I have received H1B approval in 40days, but H4Ext (I 539) is still pending. The Case is with Vermont Center and it was filed on Aug 28th. When I look at current processing times, they are processing I539 application from March 13th as of today. So it seems this application wouldn’t be touched for another 8 months.
Meanwhile, when we contacted our Attorney about H4 EAD (I-765) application, they suggested us to go-ahead with H4 Ext receipt number, which we filed that as well. Which is another biggest mistake in the current situation as this EAD application will not be touched until we get decision on H4 Ext.
So, we are planning to visit India for H4 stamping, so that we could avoid the wait time.
Now, my question is, once we get H4 stamped in India, is it possible to attach this new H4 receipt number to already applied H4 EAD application and get EAD application processed without filing new application, so that we save time and money on EAD?
Please advice.

Thanks,
Kalyan Polasi

EAD and frustration
My EAD was expired on August of 2017, i applied for renewal on April 2017. Contacted USCIS several time. Status shows that they have received the document and have 180 days of extension. However, the thought of what if EAD do not come before expiration of 180 days is just killing me.

Send email to Congressman, but don't know how it works. Just worried and now am started getting Panic Attack.

I have put forward 3 service request already. Took all the possible way to get EAD asap. But, nothing yet. :(

Vermot Service Center- L2 EAD experience
I was following this forum since I filed my EAD. This has been a traumatic experience but all went well at the end, I felt like this forum is keeping me alive. therefore, thanks to everyone who kept us updated. here is my timeline-

Vermont Service Center
Category: L2 EAD (Renewal)

Aug 15th: USCIS Received Date
I filled to Dallas center but my application was routed to Vermont. I filled based on receipt notice of L2 Extension. I did not have L2 approved by the time I filled. Though next week to filling date I got L2 approval notice.

Oct 21st: Current EAD Expired. Went on leave without pay starting 20th Oct.
Called USCIS call centers 23rd (I believe) they were not of any help. They advised to wait for 75 days.

Oct 25th : Visited USCIS local office. They said not much help they can do here, but updated that, your case was assigned to an office a day ago.

Oct 30th: Raised first SR (Online)

Nov 3rd: Called USCIS again and this time requested to speak to level 2 officer. Level 2 officer called back, I explained my situation. Officer suggested to expedite the case, also raised Expedite request for me.

Nov 6th: Response of first SR sent via regular mail (don’t have yet). Also, received email response of my Expedite request. Which was denied saying “Request does not qualify criteria of special handling and that this application will be processed within normal processing time”

Nov 8th: Visited Local USCIS office again, as response above worried me. They were of no help and scared us that normal processing now-a-days are 4-5 months and because of backlog your request was denied.

Nov 9th: Status changed to “New card is being produced” at around 11:30 am EST. (I have registered online with USCIS to get automatic updates)

Total: 87 days

Hope this helps to individuals facing similar situations on this forum. What I think is that SR’s are the key here. Keep checking all the options you have. All the best!
