Processing times update
So, USCIS updated their processing times as of September 30, 2017. My service center is Nebraska, and according to their data, they are processing I-765 cases from September 15, 2017. Now, my PD is August 15, 2017, and I still have not received my EAD. I am wondering why!

EAD based on C(9)
I am beyond frustrated... Here's my timeline.

May 2: receipt of I-130, I-131, I-765, I- 485
Later in May: Biometric appointment
Earlier in June: FRE
July 20: Response to RFE received
Sep 14: first SR raised
Oct 11: got an SR response saying it has not been 90 days since July 20
Oct 20: second SR raised. No response yet.

Since October, I contacted congressman twice, and called USCIS customer service several times.

Today I got to talk to an officer over the phone, she couldn't tell me anything other than what I can see on my account myself. She basically just told me to wait for the response to the SR raised on Oct 20 and it takes them 30 days to respond. I have an infopass scheduled next Monday. After talking to the officer this morning, i am not optimistic about getting any useful information from it. I fear it is going to take so much longer before I get my EAD card.

EAD - Update
On the 11th August I received the notification that my wifes I765 had been received. As i hold an L1 visa and my wife has an L2 we believed it would be quite an easy process and it has been. We had no new notifications by late October and her status had remained the same. My wife went on the USCIS website and originally asked to speak with Emma, the virtual assistant, she got no new information but she managed to speak to a LIVE agent who looked into the matter online for her. They actually raised an inquiry into my case and she was given a reference number. She didnt need this though as a few days after this happened, she was receiving notifcations of updates on her status and finally today she has received her EAD card.

EAD
Hi, after reading this page every single day for weeks I decided to share my experience as well:

Texas Service Center

8/2: Case was received (i-485, i-131, i-765)
9/7: Biometrics
10/16: Raised SR on i-765
10/30: SR response:

"Your i-765 application is currently with a adjudicating officer. We will make every effort to issue a decision or notice of further action on your case as soon as possible."

My attorney said that it should just take a few days after that but haven`t heard anything else. Was that just a general answer? Is it worth it to raise another SR at this point or just keep waiting?

PS: My i-485 was transferred to another office (MSC) for processing. No other updates on that.

NBC Processing Timeline
According to the USCIS website, National benefits centre was processing I-765 applications as of September 31st from September 15th 2017 for Category c9 based on I-485 adjustment of status.

According to their last update before this, processing times as of August 31st 2017.... they were only processing applications dated May 10th.

Surely it must be an error...... I'm June 29th and have heard nothing

EAD Work Authorization
Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share my experience to try offer some hope and perspective to you all :)

Filled concurrently I-485, I-765 and I-131. Married to a U.S Citizen following a K1 visa entrance into the U.S.

Service centre: MSC

EAD filed: 12th July 2017
NOA with received date: 17th July 2017
Biometrics Appointment: 11th August 2017

Approval date: 31st October 2017
NOA2 received: 04th November 2017

Total number of days between i-765 received date and card in hand: 113 days

Note: I submitted a service request on day 77 over the phone and an online service request day 91, both of which were never responded too. Also emailed my congressman for help after around 100 days and they also never replied.

Good luck to you all, all will work out in the end!

EAD as part of AOS, Nebraska center
Hi Guys,

Just want to share me experience with EAD/AP:

AOS package filled for me (485, 140, 131, 765):

6/30: Case sent
7/3: Received by USCIS, Nebraska center
8/18: Received appointment for biometrics
8/29: Biometrics done

Since then - no news. Case status online says "Case was received". Submitted service request online on 11/3. Called service center today, generic answers and they can't create a new SR since my previous one is pending, they basically do the same as you do online. Wrote to a congressman (two guys, got immediate reply from one the she is overloaded).

Desperate cause my L status expires on January 2018 (

EAD Experience
Hi guys.

Thanks for everyone who has been sharing EAD experience on this forum, it's really helpful.

I filed AOS forms based on marriage without Attorney (I-130, I-765 & I-485). My service Center is Nebraska. Here is my timeline:

6/13: Application was received
6/30: Receipt notice-NOA
7/21: Biometrics
Since Bio till now, I raised 2 SR-no response and I raised the 3rd SR on 10/30 after speaking to L2 Officer and they said that my case is currently under review, I should receive a decision or notice of action shortly. I also contacted Senator for help but no feedback yet.
It's now 143 days, I am really stressed out because of this work permit, I have been waiting to take my job offer for Months.
We are trying to do everything we can and I still have hope that my case could be touched sometime soon. We also made info-pass appointment on 11/13 to speak to USCIS Officer but I was wondering if it's not wasting time as they may give the same answer. Let me know if anyone has this experience, it can help. Thanks
