EAD
Hi guys,

This forum has been really helpful to me. I would like to share my experience and to hear your opinion in relation to my case.

I'm still waiting for my EAD card which request was filed 128 days ago. See timeline below:

NSC
I-765 - Category C09

RD: 6/12
Biometrics: 9/13
1st SR: 9/13 (91 days - no response)
Spoke to Congressman: 09/19 (99 days - They said they would helps us, but I haven't heard back from them.)
Sent a letter to Senator: 10/09 (119 days - no response)
2nd SR: 10/13 (123 days - no response)
Spoke to 2 tier office: 10/18 (127 days - he told me that the case is under review and that EADs are taking at least 120 days nowadays and that I should wait)

Is there something else I could do? I'm expecting a job offer and cannot afford to let it pass! How long is it taking for you?

Thanks everyone

EAD & Travel Document Approved Day 87 (MSC)
Thanks to everyone here, i kept checking up here daily for inspiration & knowledge. I live in Bronx NY. Here's my timeline (marriage to a U.S citizen, category C(09) i-765, i-130, i-131, i-485).

Application received by USCIS - July 21st, 2017
Notice of Action - 25th July, 2017 (MSC)
Biometrics - 14th August, 2017
RFIE pertaining not submitting medicals - 15th July (Attorney says ignore it)
SR on the 10th October (Day 81) just to know why applications has been stuck on Case was Received, customer service (very nice lady) said not to worry everything seems okay and she'll only raise a request that case is approaching normal time.
Day 87 (Approval in the mail box for cases i-131 & i-765
Day 88 (Case updated for the first time via USCIS app, phone & email, we have mailed your card to the address you gave us )
Am currently expecting the card something this week by God's grace & will also update once received. I & my lovely wife are so excited.
Prayer & patience was the only two things we did, nothing extra ordinary. God still answers prayers if you believe.

I wish everyone still waiting for their applications to get approved God's speed in your processes.....

Officer 2 called me back after 2hrs . after he listen to my story line, he said he will write MCS to look into my case and i noticed he made general inquiry for me. Does anyone know how long is going to take for response? This waiting makes me cry day and night.

I-765 based on I-485 (marriage)
Hi..really need your suggestion/help.

I entered the US on VWP in Jan, and got married with my girlfriend (US citizen) in May. She got divorced last year. We hired a lawyer and submmited I-485, 765, and 130 together in end of May. I've done my bio in June. They requested RIE in June, and received on July 5th. Ever since then all of my cases are pending with no more updates.

AUG - I raised a SR for my 765 | Answer: still under normal processing time
SEP - My lawyer raised an inquiry | Answer: stil under normal processing time
OCT 5TH - I called and filed an expedite request
OCT 11TH - Received an e-mail saying they will make a decision or tell me next step shortly, and it shows my expedition request was completed.

I found a congressman today, and wrote them an e-mail. Someon called back to disucss my issue. However, they told me there's nothing they can help expedite, and even told me "expedition"'s never real. USICS will tell them the same answer I was told. She even told me because we got married within a year, I'm very likely to be denied and asked me to get prepared. She even told me I probably won't hear anything this year....

The congressman office doesn't seem helpful, or willing to help. I have a pending job offer since June, and the company's already out of patience. So helpless now...

Any suggesstion ?

I'm in CA and my service center is NBC.

EAD received
Application sent: 6/19/17
Priority date: 6/21/17
Checks cashed: 6/29/17
Biometrics appointment: 7/17/17
EAD received : 10/11/17

PD 6/21, from Brooklyn NYC (same sex marriage)
So I made a service request around 80th day and I never got the response by email.
Last week, I decided to call customer service, spoke to a Level 1 Officer who wanted to do another service request
about my case, I was really persistent and asked to speak with Level 2 Immigration officer. After couple of minutes, she out me on hold and told me that I will be receiving call back in 70 mins (I was like yeah right).
But the guy actually called me back and boy, he was SOOO nice and friendly! I told him my Online case status never changed so he told me “Well sir, your card has been approved and it’s on the way to be delivered today”. I think I died and was reborn again in 5 minutes haha, I was so excited. I thanked him and he started to joke about noise level in NYC (I was at the subway station) so it was a pleasant conversation.

112 days from PD to EAD in hands.
Case never changed online, so I highly recommend you guys call them and be persistent about your case.
Good luck to everyone, this process is not easy, I was going crazy myself but now I finally feel like I’m on the right track.
If you have any questions let me know!

Advice for work-based EAD
Hey all, reading some comments here and seeking your advice.
PD: 07/13/17
Biometrics: 08/09/17
SR1: Day 75 , answered Day 90 (Oct. 11):

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

The site currently says:

On July 13, 2017, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number LIN YYYY YYYY XX. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

My lawyers say to sit tight for up to 60 days. Obviously I'm climbing the walls.
My employer basically said they would wait for up to 60 more days.

WHAT DO I DO?
