Hi i started my immigration process for GC in oct 23,2015....went to do my biometrics in dec and until now i still havnt received my EAD or anything, i called last week trying to figure out whats going on and all they said is they are going to put in a request......i got an email the same day saying on Jan a mail was returned because of undelivery, so i call back and they said they will make another request.....
is this something I should be worried about ? Will i ever get my EAD , feel like im going crazy here at home not knowing, cant work and just waiting

Social Security Card
Hi! Got in the states as K1.. after 2 weeks we decided to get married. after 2 weeks we were able to get our marriage certificate then we went to the Social Security to get a Card. But apparently the officer told me that I should wait for my green card or ead so that they can process my ssn.
Is it possible that I contest with what the officer told me. The only requirements needed were Visa, I-94 , Birth Certificate and Marriage License. Do you think I can still apply even if I dont have my Ead yet?

Hi! I would like to ask if how long does it takes to process the Aos and Ead.
We filed the docs last March 1, 2016 and was received by USCIS by March 3, 2016. Got a receipt last March 14, 2016 and until now I haven't receive any notice for my biometric sched.

NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED
I just got an email from Ombudsman saying a decision has been reached on my EAD after 93days. I raised a lot of SRs but to no avail until I contacted them yesterday and they worked their magic. lol! please how long does it take for the card to reach my mail box, cant wait to hold that equipment and bad boy in my hands.... Thank God... what a long wait?

168 days - Still no EAD :(
It's been 168 days today since I applied for my L2 based EAD on 6th October 2015. Received RFE on 27 Jan 2016 and no news or update after that. Called up the USCIS service center and they said only after 60 days (of receiving the RFE) they will raise a SR. Anyone has any idea why is it taking so long? I am tired and bored of sitting at home and really worried regarding the outcome :( Mine is a first time EAD application. Anyone else with such a long delay?

Just wanted to share some light...
* january 4th case received by Missouri center (msc). got notice of it 5 days later.
* january 23th notice received with biometrics appointment
* february 5th went in for biometrics. it took only about 15 minutes :)
* march 7th I called uscis and asked them to expedite my case due to financial loss
* that same day my online status went from "case received" to.. "name was updated". called uscis again next day to check what it meant, they said everything was okay.
* march 13th received a letter from uscis asking for evidence of financial loss. I didn't respond to it.
* march 18th checked my case online and my status had change to... "case approved on march 18"
So yaaayyyy! is finally done after 74 days and I'm so glad cause I was emotionally drained. Good luck guys and stay strong.

EAD pending for more than 90 days
Hi, I need urgent help. As per I-797 C my case was recieved by USCIS on 12/17/2015. I raised 2 SRs in between which were closed with usual response to wait longer. I accessed this website https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx as per responses from this blog, and I received an email today that my case has been forwarded to USCIS but the status on the USCIS site is still the initial one, no change. Can anyone suggest is this the correct way to contact congressman (the website I mentioned above) or there is another way. I am desperatley waiting for EAD, any suggestions wil be of great help, thanks
