EB2 i-485 AOS interview
Hello,

My EB2 i-485 AOS interview is scheduled in a few days. I was reviewing my i-485 form to prepare for interview and found that there was a silly mistake. . In the question of "last foreign address", I mistakenly wrote my past USA address. I called up my attorney to know if it was submitted with that mistake. They informed me that, they copied the last foreign address from my wife's form and put it there, assuming that my wife's last foreign address would be same as mine.

Now, that is a mistake. When I last lived in my home country, I was single. Therefore, my last foreign address where i lived more than a year is actually different than my wife's one.

How should I address this issue now or during interview? Should i call up any customer service number to correct this ? Or I just go to the interview and correct it there, if I am asked.

Please suggest me.

EB2-ROW Interview on Sept 25; Typo in I-485
Hello,

I have my interview scheduled on Sept 25. I was going through the I-485 form and found a typo in the street address of my previous physical address question. I had put a 5 instead of 4 in the three digit of the address where I used to live before. My current address and other information is correct. Please suggest what should I do in this regard. Should I call the customer service or inform the officer about it during the interview ?

EB1C i485 AOS Interview - ROW South East Asia
Lurked and benefited a lot from this forum.

PD: July 2017
I-140 approved June 2018
Interview date: 9/19/2018, 8am, Dallas Field Office in Irving TX.

Interview experience:
- The whole family was asked to appear.
- The attorney wasn't present, but a mock interview was held 2 weeks prior with the attorney.
- We wore proper formal button-downs and ties, shirts and dresses. Like going to a job interview. Was advised by attorney to dress properly :)
- Arrived early at 7.20am.
- Was called in by the IO around 8.10am and she brought her into her room.
- My photo was taken and fingerprints verified.
- Then it was my wife's turn.
- Kids just sat down and looked at everything around in the IO's office.
- Then said "Yes, I do" to the oaths.
- IO was professional and succinct.
- Questions asked to me: Name, Birth date, Place of Birth, Address, Date moved to this address, Last entry date into USA, Entry Port, Current Visa, Parents' name and Birth Place, SSN, Wife's Name, Wife's Birthdate, Kids' names, Kids' birth dates.
- Questions asked to my wife: Name, Birth date, Place of Birth, SSN and Parents' names and birth date.
- No questions for the children.
- Then, the Yes/No questions to the both of us. Asked the IO about traffic infractions because I wrote "No" in the section with the arrested, cited, etc question, and was informed it wasn't necessary to include it.
- Was asked to sign the forms and was told I got the entry date wrong but it's near enough to be approved.
- Was told that the EB1C should've be approved but can't be approved then because of retrogression. Was told to wait until October.
- We said thank you and left.
- Overall, very nervous and would not recommend to do it more than once unless necessary :)

EB2 (ROW) Interview Experience SF Office
Hi all,

I had my I-485 interview today at the San Francisco field office today. It lasted for about 30 minutes. Interview officer was very nice and polite. The atmosphere of the interview was pretty relaxed though professional. We went over:

- My personal information (first and last names, DOB, COB, parents' first and last names)
- My documents (passports, EAD, driver license, birth certificate etc.)
- My current position and employer (what I do, where I work, how long I've been at it, how often I'm in office in a week, how I heard about it)
- A little bit about past experiences and employers
- Residential history, arrest history and criminal records (the long list of questions where one typically answers No to everything

In the end, the interview officer went over my application one more time and presented me with the notes that he made during the interview and asked for my signature if everything looked ok to me. He then proceeded to talk about the current retrogression and how my case will be sent back to the Nebraska Service Center where it's put onto a shelf that will be processed when October comes. Basically, from this point on it's just waiting game

Overall, I had a very positive interviewing experience. I'm glad I got it over with. Good luck to everyone.

Information required to expedite the process
Hi everyone,

I had my interview in Newark field office, on Aug 25th. Officer told me that she had everything she needed but due to the retrogression of EB2, I have to wait till Oct.

In the meantime, I applied for a job and after initial interviews, they have invited me for an onsight interview and they are asking to bring the green card as it's a defense-related facility and they can't let me get in without a green card. I have to go there on Oct 12th.

As I am not sure, if the process will start automatically on Oct 1, I want to file a request to expedite my process on this base. Could you please guide me if the USCIS will accept that? And if yes, what's the process for the request?
