EB1 C in NBC for Long time
My 485 moved to NBC by May16 2018. But No process after that. My 485 was filled with TSC. Will NBC will process case based on processing time for Texas Service Center or NBC have its own Service time? Can any one help me to understand this.

India EB 1
Just read the update issued today that EB 1 for India and China will return to current in Oct. Apparently no change expected this year. I guess the wait is going to be much longer

Question on traveling
Hello All,

USCIS received I485/I131/I765 on 7/3/2018

Currently residing in the States. My H1B visa stamp is expired, I have I797 approval for I129 H1B visa extension, my I140 is approved, and currently waiting for my Advance Parole/EAD to be issued. I already did my biometrics scanning AUG 1st. Also waiting for interview notice for I485.

I've a planned vacation on 9/20 to my home country, if I travel outside of states to my home country and renew my visa stamp at the US embassy for reentry. Would I risk/renounce my green card application since my AP hasn't been issued yet and I'm traveling outside of the States? Your response is greatly appreciated..

Interview notice
Okay, I have not posted on this forum in six months or so. If you want to know my exact timeline just go back to my experiences.

I filed an EB3 I-140 and I-485 in August 2017. Received my EAD the first week of February 2018. My original I-140 was denied in March 2018. Yes, DENIED. My attorney filed a new one with premium processing in April 2018 and sent a letter requesting to link the new I-140 petition to my pending I-485 (so that it wouldn't be denied and I could keep my EAD). New I-140 approved in May 2018 and case I-485 was transferred to NBC in June 2018. Today, August 13th, 2018, I received my interview notice for September 2018. I am almost there.

Travel on AP
Has anyone traveled abroad on AP attained from 485? H1B status is still valid but the stamping is expired. Do we need H1 stamping again or can solely comeback based on AP?

Fingerprint notice from a different service center
I submitted my combo application to Nebraska Service Center.

I received my fingerprint notice in the mail and the service center is written as "National Service Center". However I did not get a notice that my case was transferred.

Anyone with the same issue? What is the service center written on your fingerprint notice? Is the same or different from the original one you sent your application to?

My timeline
I've been reading this forum in the past few months and it's time for my input. Hope this will be a useful data point for those who is still on this journey. Bless you all!

Chinese national, PD: Oct 2014 with approved I140 on both EB2/EB3 categories. Attorney suggested me play this game as the cutoff date on these two categories can pass each other over time and hard to predict. Turned out to be a good strategy: I first submited AOS using EB3 cutoff time in Mar 2018, and when the interview came in July the EB3 time retrogressed, but EB2 moved up which rendered my application still current.

Mar 2018: AOS submitted under EB3 (485, 765, 131)
Apr 2018: Biometric appointment
May 2018: Transferred to NBC
June 2018: EAD received, interview scheduled
July 2018: Interview done
Aug 2018: GC received

Interview was 2 hours wait and 15 mins talk. No attorney with me. Very friendly officer. Checked my passport, DL and yes/no questions, no more. I told her my attorey prepared a new Sup J form to upgrade case to E2, she checked and said yes you are still current. Verbal approval on spot, but said please allow her a couple of days to put the new Sup J form in the system.
