EB-1 - ROW - OCT'18 PROJECTIONS
Hi All,

I'm not quite sure what to make of the Sept'18 Visa bulletin as it doesn't clearly says if the dates will return to current for EB-1 ROW or not. Normally every year we see fresh availability of visa numbers hence dates becoming current but USCIS' projection for Oct'18 is somewhat odd. Bulletin says-

''WORLDWIDE (all countries): October Final Action Dates will be imposed for all countries. Limited, if any forward movement can be expected prior to December.''

Any input on this?

EB1 A/B i-140 timing status !!
Guys, just checking if any EB1 A/B applicant (regular processing) from Jan/Feb/ March 2018 got the result for pending i-140 petition? Just trying to estimate when to expect the result. Some people saying it goes even 9-10 months.

Filed mine in March at Nebraska service center and waiting. Their timeline is showing that they are at the end of Jan 2018? Not sure how appropriate it is. Their range is 5-7 months at present. Does anybody ever get the result around 5-6 months ? Just curious.

EB2-ROW
I took my GC interview this morning.

Here is my overall timeline:

June 14, 2017: Priority Date:
June 15, 2017: PERM Approved
Dec 26, 2017: I-140 & I-485 Concurrently filed (Service Center Nebraska)
Feb 15, 2018: Biometrics
April 04,2018: Notice for Case transferred to National Benefits Center.
July 18,2018: Interview Notice
Aug 22nd, 2018: Interview at Des-Moines office at USCIS

INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE:

Arrived 30 min in advance for interview at 8:15am. At 8:30 officer called my name and escorted me to interview room. Interview was straightforward. Officer was looking at my I-485 and asked my full name, date of birth, full SSN, my current address, my employer name, how long I am living at current address, how long I am with current employer. Then yes/no questions from I-485, answer to all of them were NO. Then my latest entry in united states, asked for passport and made a copy of paroled stamp. Then officer asked for employment letter, he seemed satisfied with available details on letter.

My advice to future interviewees is that there is nothing to worry about, just be precise in your answers, don't give any detail/document you are not asked for. Take copies of all documents(don't miss a single).

At the end, officer told he will recommend my case for approval and will send this to National Benefit Center. But any decision can't be made on my case until visa become available in October. Also that I can call NBC by start of October for inquiry.

Yesterday I checked my online status that was" Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed" that seems inconsistent to what officer told me. He never mentioned about further review.
Anyone has any better idea?

After I485 interview
Hello,

Has anyone gone for an interview in Aug 2018? Did you receive your approval?

My interview was on Aug 1st in Federal Plaza NYC but haven't heard anything yet. So looking to get some info on timelines.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

EB1C pre-filing difficulties
Hi all,

I wanted to get your views from those in or been in similar situations. I am on L1A and will be filing in EB1C category.

My employer is sponsoring my green card application and they hired an immigration attorney to assign to my case. I was approached by the immigration attorney back in Feb 2018 and they started their internal process of documenting my case. I have provided them with all information they asked for and since about Mar 2018 they have been working on building the case. They are still building the case. I occasionally follow up with them to see if they are getting close to finalizing my case and file for application but their answer have been the same every time "we are still working on building your case". Now, from your experience, how long does it typically take to build a case? Is it possible that the immigration attorney tends to deliberately delays the process? Is there something I can do to speed up the process or influence the pace of their work?

Any advice would be helpful, thank you all in advance!
