FINALLY - THE LONG WAIT IS OVER
I have been a silent reader and sharing my experience all through out my entire journey. I arrived in US as H1B since 2014. Struggled a lot along the way, there were ups and downs, and when I had a serious talks with my employer and agreed to file sponsorship - it just gave me hope. It wasn't easy to live and work in USA not knowing your future, fearing what tomorrow brings me with my family. But I remained calm and took day by day issues because life must go on. I knew my employer was taking advantage of our situation but I kept myself busy and focused on whats ahead of us. Prayers will help and encourage the same for you guys to do the same. Patience:-)

EB1C India - GC in hand finally!

I have been on thread for a long time and i would like to share the good news that i finally received the GC in hand on 09/07/2020.
Here is my full history:
PD = RD = 5/31/2017
Country: India
09/08/2020: Card in Hand.
08/21/2020: We approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
08/20/2020: We ordered your new card.
01/28/2019: Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action.
11/02/2018: We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview.
06/08/2018: We transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.
06/08/2017: We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our Nebraska Service Center location is working on your case.

Thanks so much to everyone for the posts in this forum, best platform to learn and cut down anxiety. Following is my time line, I hope it's helpful to lower anxiety. It seems all current PD cases are being approved fast, be patience and good luck.

The application was for me and my dependent. Interview was waived.

I've been reading on this site but never posted anything. Today my case was finally approved. As a thank you, here's my timeline and hopefully it helps you a little bit!
Employment based GC -
PD 11/24/2014 (previous employer filed I-140 and was approved. PD date carried over to current employer)
I-140 received 6/13/19
I-140 approved 6/19/19 (premium processing)
I-485 received 2/20/20
Fingerprints 3/16/20
RFE medical records 6/1/20
AP and EAD approved 6/12/20
RFE received 6/16/20
AP and EAD card received 6/18/20
Website changed to new card is being produced 8/26/20
Website changed to Case Approved 8/27/20
I switched employer back in 2016 and had to restart the whole GC application process so my PD was very early and became current maybe 2-3 years ago. But my current employer was dragging their feet. I'm on H1B year-7 now (and no longer!)
Good luck to everyone else who's still waiting. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Waiting for my EB1C GC approval -
Hi,
My case # SRC and my PD is May 2017. Interview completed Nov 2018. Medical valid till Nov 2020.
I'm on EB1C - India
My family was on advance parole and got stuck and advance parole expired - so I485 is not valid anymore for them, they cannot get GC now.
However, I'm on EAD with renewed adv-parole.
Moved new address last month.
Question - I see people filed after me getting approvals or some status updates atleast, my case is getting delayed due to address change or my family i-485 not valid, not sure..,i need some of your thoughts.,
Have to travel now... if I travel, what happens if my i-485 approved, will I be allowed to get in with EAD?

Anyone else received Notice of Interview Results without having the I-485 interview?

Hope all is well during the pandemic. We received a Notice of Interview Results in mail today saying the interview is complete. We are confused as our I-485 interview has not been scheduled yet. Our priority date isn't current yet. Wondering if anyone else also got the notice?

Lay off during PERM Process
I’m going to my PERM Labor Certification process and one of my colleagues at the same location was laid off (very recent). BUT, he has a totally different job function than mine. Different job requirements and different experiences. Will this impact my PERM Labor Certification?
