service request for biometric
Hello Everyone,

I have filed EB1A I485 on 23rd Jan. I have not received any notice for biometric. Had SR twice and recent SR was assigned to officer. got email like this..

The status of this service request is:

Our records indicate that we are awaiting your appearance for biometric processing. Your case is currently in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics. Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of your appointment. You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment.

What does it mean? I am scared as it says suspend or on hold.....

Anyone have any idea.

Thanks

I-485 Supplement J for Interview
Hello All,

I have already submitted Supplement J along with my I-485 application in Oct 2017. I am still with the same employer and hold the same designation and salary, my question is do I have to carry an updated / recent Supplement J again to Interview? Or does the one submitted along with I-485 will suffice?

RFE New Medical, I-485J & G325A
Hello Friends:
Response to RFE for New Medical, I-485J & G325A received by USCIS on 27th March. No update since then. Is there anybody who has similar RFE or update timeline from USCIS. I see many in this forum received their GCs in a week or so after responding to new medical RFE, mine is taking extra-ordinary time. Want to understand if this is normal or something going wrong with my case.

EB3, TSC, Dec, 30th 2016 filer.

EB2 - NIW (RFE for i485)
Hello,

I recently received an RFE for my i485 submission (i140 and i485 submitted in July 2016). RFE requires us to redo medical due to expiration and also prove lawful presence for the period in the US before the application of the i485.

We competed medicals again and now working on showing lawful presence. We cannot find one of our i94 as proof of lawful presence during a certain period.
Is there anyway of getting historical i94? Where would one get this as the website only shows the recent ones. Is there any alternative forms of proof that could be used?

EB1A timeline (successful)
Dear all,

I found this forum very helpful over the past year as I worked my way through the permanent residency process. Below is a timeline for my application, which I hope may be a useful reference point. My overall advice is keep a positive attitude, persevere, and always follow instructions and deadlines from USCIS to the letter.

Good luck!

6/26/2016 I-485, I-140 (EB1A), I-765, I-131 received (Nebraska Service Center)
8/2/2016 EAD (1-year validity) issued
8/11/2016 Biometrics taken
7/11/2017 EAD renewal application filed
8/18/2017 RFE for I-140 issued (required a lot of work to address issues)
9/20/2017 New EAD (2-year validity) issued
11/14/2017 RFE reply for I-140 received
1/20/2018 I-140 approved
3/2/2018 RFE for I-485 (redo medical, incomplete I-485 form)
4/5/2018 RFE reply for I-485 received
4/10/2018 I-485 approved
4/17/2018 Green Card mailed
4/21/2018 Green Card received

Employment based
Hi all, its been more than 5 months and I have not received my advance parole papers... below is the timeline

Nov 13 I-485 Received
Nov 15 I-140 received
Nov 15 I-765 Received
Nov 15 I-131 Received
Nov 21st I-140 approved
Dec 22 Biometrics
March 15 Case Transferred to NBC

Then for a bit, it was saying that "as of March 21st we are ready to schedule for the interview," but currently it is showing "cannot provide with info" on case status page, and "case transferred to another field on my uscis.gov".

It is a bit strange because in case history it says "case transferred" 3 times - March 15, March 16, March 16... Anyone had the same experience? When I call the automated number, it is saying "ready to schedule interview".
It looks like a few people received their AP/EAD cards the same day as case was transferred, but not in my case.
I am a Nebraska filer, and local field office is Albany, NY. In about 10 days I will be able to submit case inquiry about my I-131/I-765, but is it worth it? Anyone with similar experience? Just anxious to at least get my advance parole. Is it possible that I won't get it at all?

Thanks!
