Writ of Mandamus
Does any body has experience of Writ of Mandamus again USCIS for a delayed I-485 decision?
My attorney advise me to file a writ of Mandamus because my case is pending since long now. I am concurrent filer of December 30, 2016, EB3, USCIS. Last RFE about New Medical, and I-485J was responded in March 2018. Since then no update. Raised quite a few SRs, took infopass etc. Nothing helped.
Now attorney is advising about Writ of Mandamus, can someone share experience whether or not it works. My only fear is USCIS may get offended and deny the case.

AOS Interview - Fairfax VA
Hi guys, I was hoping someone would have done a work based interview for AOS at the Fairfax office in Virginia. I have all of my paperwork ready that was requested on the interview notice. Just wondering if anyone has an experience on what they ask, and then the length of time for decision after interview. Interview is on 05/30/19!

300 days after interview
I have posted a bunch of times here -
Had my EB2 interview in July 2018, was told everything is ok but then haven’t received the card.
300 days later, today I got a message that my card is ordered. I don’t think any of my SRs helped, none of the 4 or them were ever responded to.
My only piece of advice is to be on the cautious side and have backup plans for work authorization etc. Uscis is completely unpredictable...

AOS Interview Notice with No Priority Date!

I got my AOS I485 interview notice today and it shows no priority date. However, prior notices for the same form I485 always come with priority date. What could this mean?
I am Texas Filer with I485 at NBC and interview set for June at Dallas Field Office.
Initial filing was concurrent and family based which has PD of 06/04/2018. I later requested a change to Employment based.
Anyone with similar experience should share.

My PD is Jan, 2018 and interview scheduled to this month end. Can someone please share the documents checklist and interview experience at Newark, NJ field office? Also with the latest bulletin, the PD went back to May 2015 (India) what would happen after my interview? will they say everything looks fine, but PD is not current or is there any chances to approving it within 120days?

My husband is now apply eb3 in the US and his status is as bellows:
- I485 PD: 8 Feb 2019
- Biometrics done: 25 Feb 2019
- I140 submitted in 28 Dec 2018 and get approval in mid April 2019
- Service center: NBC
Do you guys know when my husband can get the EAD and how long for the GC interview?

Got EAD - Oct-2017
AP - denied due to foreign travel
Got RFE on I140 - End of Nov-2018
RFE responded - First week of Feb-2019
I140 status was changed to "Name was updated" in Feb 2019. It's been 90+ days no updates
