Interview Experience
Hi all,
I’ve benefited from this forum a lot. So, now I want to share my experience as well.

EB2-ROW
August 2018: filed I-140 (Premium Processing)
August 2018: I-140 approved
August 2018: I-131, I-765, I-485 and I-485J filed for all family
October 2018: Biometrics completed
March 2019: EAD/AP combo card was received
March 2019: Interview Notice
April 2019: Interview completed
April 2019: New card is being produced

My Interview was held in San Jose office and took around 45 minutes. It was scheduled to early morning around 8AM. We went half an hour early and waited around 1 hour. IO was very nice and friendly. After fingerprints, she asked for passports, IDs, EADs, birth certificates, marriage certificates, payroll, updated employment letter. I additionally gave her my current H1B approval and extension approval. After that, she confirmed the information on I485 and asked most of Yes/No questions. She didn’t asked any other questions about my job or how I entered etc. She asked 2-3 questions to the kids like what is your mother’s birthday. She took 1-2 notes like my wife’s SSN and our previous visas. She said she has everything needed and asked if I want to submit any other document. I said I have additional documents like diplomas, transcripts, tax documents, bank statements etc. But, she said she doesn’t need them.

We signed interview section of 485 document and she gave us Interview completed papers and told us she will continue to review our cases and if they need more documents, they will contact us. After 2 hours, I received New card is being produced email notice.

Now, we are waiting for the cards.

Good luck everyone.

Changing Address
I have been waiting for my I140 approval since April 2018. I am an EB2 applicant (concurrent filing). I moved from Illinois to California. I changed my address as soon as I moved into CA. However, just recently, I needed to move to a different address (still in CA). I am thinking to just use the address of my family friend in INDIANAPOLIS as my permanent address so I will not lose any documents from USCIS. Has anyone done the same before? Is it okay to do that since my work requires me to move every 13 weeks?

do we need state ID in interview
I read that in the i485 interview, they'll ask for a second form of photo ID (besides passport) such as driver's licnese. I don't have a driver's licence. Do I have to go to get a State ID? Or could I just the EAD as the second form of photo ID?

waiting since the interview in November
Hi,
I am wondering if there is anyone similar to my case. I submitted all docs on May 23, 2018 and had an interview on November 28, 2018 in San Francisco and I was told I would receive the green card around February at the end of the interview (did not get any official document at the interview), and the status still says "ready to schedule an interview". My attorney submitted two SRs, no response yet and she told me that there is nothing else she can do, and that I can try infopass. I tried to book an infopass appointment but it seems they do not accept that in SF any more. Is there anyone in similar situation?
Thank you.

Hello All - I am new here i applied for my I-485, I-765 and I-131 in Oct 2018 still did'nt receive EAD, the wait times have been crazy. Tiring being on H1B, my PD is Oct 2014 EB2, India

I have 2 questions

2) I am with Employer A, waiting to get EAD/GC i got an offer from employer B can i accept that offer and move on to B, he's ready to file the H1B. If i move i know i need to update USCIS but will this cause further delaying to my GC processing?

Does the IO ask for the original I-20s, or copies suffice?
I’ve lost one of my I-20s, ordered it from school. Not sure it will be ready in time.
Thanks,
