D. CHINA-mainland born AND INDIA EMPLOYMENT-BASED FIRST (E1) PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILITY
Despite the final action date for these two countries having been held in recent months, there continues to be an extremely high rate of demand for E1 numbers, primarily for USCIS adjustment of status applicants. This situation may require the retrogression of this final action date in an effort to limit future number use.
Such action would only be temporary, with the date for these two countries returning to the latest reached during fiscal year 2019 for October, the first month of fiscal year 2020.
Seems that retrogression for China/India is coming soon...

Attorney filed for I-140 in March 2018, got approved in June 2018.
USCIS received I765 and I131 Nov 26th 2018.
Bio: Jan 4th 2019
Bio review completed: Jan 7th 2019.
I765 still showing received and I131 is the same.

USCIS Site Visit after i 485 interview
Last week my employer got email from USCIS about office visit. My employer told me its about my i 140. Which does not make sense because I already have approved I 140 and already had interview last Nov 2018.

Jan 8th-2018: PD, Filed concurrently I140, I485, I765, I131
Mar 24th - 2018: EAD/AP card received in mail
July 7th - I140 approved

My lawyer told me that general processing time is 6-8 weeks after PD becomes current. Others who have recently received GC -can you let me know how long it took once PD became current.

485 j approval
Hi,
I have completed my IOS interview in mid Jan'2019 under EB1C category and my PD is Aug'17. On the same timeline my other fellow colleagues are also completed IOS recently and they have received 485J approval notice within 4-5 weeks. Whereas even after completion of my IOS for 10+ weeks, I did not receive 485J approval notice. My IOS was very straight forward same as most of the others had experience and officer said it can be approvable once date is current.
Should I be worried as I have not received 485 J approval notice yet? Should I call helpline number to inquire about the status? Or should we wait for 180+ days to complete to raise SR?
