Family Based Green Card - EAD
Hello Friends,

I'm currently on EAD which I got after applying for Adjustment of Status based on marriage and currently working for "X" company. "X" company lawyer helped me in filing AOS.
I want to change my job to another "Y" company and the lawyer of "X" company saying that they can not help me further with the process, but this will not prevent me in changing jobs, does someone had similar experience and do you see any issues in changing jobs ?

Thank you.

I-130 Seattle
Any recent Seattle I-130 filers petitioning for a parent that can share their timeline here? How you filed (online vs paper), which center processed your request and how long it took to approve etc.

Note I am just talking about people who filed i-130 by itself not concurrent filing with i-485. Thanks!

I751 Petition to remove condition from Green Card
It has been a long journey but I am glad it has come to a successful milestone as my 10years green card was approved recently.

I applied for removal of condition from Dallas, Tx. around mid March 2021. About a month later I received the 18 months extension. On May 4th, 2021, online status changed to biometrics captured. I added a lot of evidence; lease, insurances(life, auto, health), bank account statements, pictures, and 2 notarized affidavits from 2 people who know us as couples.

August 31 2021 - online status changed to new card being produced.

September 1st 2021 - Case approved.

September 2nd 2021 - we mailed your new card

September 4th 2021 - received my 10yrs green card in the mailbox.

No interviews...no request for evidence. Here is my piece of advise, just make sure you put as much evidence as you have. Remember to add the notarized affidavit or else they will request for it.

I am happy and grateful to God Almighty for showing me favour.

I wish you all good luck in your respective endeavors.

Peace!

Texas Service Center
Hi.
I am a LPR and applied for my wife's greencard and the case is at Texas Service Center. I just noticed the processing time has increased from 1.5 months to 7 TO 22 months. Has someone experienced the same? Any idea what has happened which resulted in this significant increase?

Parents Green Card - Birth Certificate
We are trying to apply Green card for my father. We tried to apply the Green card for him in 2017, so we have the documents procured in 2016. But my father could not make it to the Green card interview process at that time.
We are again trying to apply it now.
My father's birth was not registered, so we have the non availability certificate for birth and affidavits for his date of birth provided and signed in July 2016. from his relatives older than him. Could you please respond to the below questions?
1) How many affidavits are needed from older relatives when birth certificate is not available?
2) Can affidavits of birth signed and attested in 2016 be used now if we apply for his green card later this year or early next year or will he need to get new affidavits?
Appreciate your response.

I-751
Finally the day has come. This morning my removal of condition has been approved. I should receive my 10 years green card in mail in a week or so.

I have been following this forum closely, it’s helped me from going insane and waiting for this whole process to finish.

Have faith and submit the most important documents, wait for them to approve. No interview or anything.

My timeline
December 2019 - sent application with all my documents to USCIS
March 2020 - fingerprint taken
August 26th, 2021 - new card is being produced
August 27th, 2021 - case was approved

Good luck y’all

IR5 Parent Visa approved
Hi I am here to ask for advise on this...

My mom has gotten IR5 Visa to come to the US, the expiration date is 12/16/2021.But with the situation all over the world, it is not very safe to travel for her. The flights would take 26+hrs and there will be multiple stops. I asked lawyer if she could extend the visa, he told me there was no option to do that.

I am very confused and lost right now. I don't want her to get sick during travel, in the meantime, I also don't want her to have to wait another round to reapply.
