Visa Dennied
This officer has not even looked at my docs. i had gone for buisnees visa and had all docs but she said you are not eligible for visa.

I pray that no one should get that type of office where your visa dependeson their mood.

They should have a look ont docs , should take interview peoperly and then get approved or reject the visa and not by just asking 2-3 question and thats it.. he is not god where her intuition is always rights. it is never right because the one who is coming for visa have prepared everthing then only had stand for it. also Busniess visa people will ofcourse come and not going to stay there. they should keep in mind and grant visa...

Very disappointing people who dont trust people how can they trsut on jesus..

Hi,

I had my interview on 17th April, 2012 at New Delhi Consulate. The VO asked me very common questions and after f***ing me for 15-20 mins, he handed me over a green pamphlet ticking in some of docs. He asked me to submit the ticked docs via courier. When I told him that i am having the docs with me, he simply refused to have a look at them and said that he can not look at them at that time as there were number of people waiting.

It's a complete luck and i hope that none of the readers comes across such a**hole VO.

H4 Visa Approved
Hi... I got my H4 visa approved at the Chennai Consulate today (17 Apr 2012). Thanks to immihelp.com as I was a regular visitor to this website from the time my husband initiated visa for me :)

Few things I experienced today is a little new than what is in this forum and so wanted to share those details. My interview was at 10:00 AM and I was let in at 09:25 AM.

1. Issue of Token Number outside the gate. U need to provide ur DS 160 confrmtn page and ur Appointment letter here.
2. Security check outside the gate and then they let you in. They again check all ur belongings.. They check ur purse, supporting documents folder and the actual document folder too.
3. U get in to another chamber where there are lot of seats. Ur token number will appear in the TV and u need to go to the counter where Indian officers sit. They check ur documents and they tie the required documents in order with a rubber band. Remaning documents u need to keep in the folder separately.
4. Now they ask you to goto the next counter where they take finger prints.. (Counter 6 and 12). Show the tied documents against the glass and the person on other side will read the barcode in the Confirmation page. U need to first keep all ur fingers except the thumb and then thumb separately. Please ensure that you get a red tick in the Confirmation Page using a sketch pen from the person standing near the counter to help you. I did not get this as there was no one beside me and I went into the VO chamber and was sent back.. I later explained to a person helping people and he marked the page for me.
5. After this you need to take the last left passage towards the next building where the VO sit.. Ur token number gets displayed and u get your counter. Please try not to talk to anyone inside..

And here is how my Interview went.

I placed only the tied documents inside the counter. She took it.

VO: Good Morning. How are you today?
Me: I am fine. Thanks Mam. How are you?
VO: Good. Which organization is your husband working?
Me: YYYY X Company
VO: Is he already in the US?
Me: Yes Mam
VO: Which place is he in?
Me: YYYY City in YYYY State.
VO: Your Visa is approved. Please collect it in a week.

I should say that I was very shocked that the interview went so simple. :) I had prepared too much. But all is well for those you are confident and positive.

Thanks to you all again in this forum. It really helped me a lot.
