I had H1B visa at chennai,
I got an offer letter from xxx company.
Im very scared by seeing the VO officer bcoz my B1 visa is rejected by her only. Im very tensed, but the discusssion went very smoothly.
VO: Good Morning sir,
Ans: Good Morning mam, thank you.
VO: pass the documents.
ME: sure and passed the documents
VO: Which company you are working for
ME: working as a xxxx designation for xxxx company
VO: why are you going to US
ME: I got an employment opportunity over there to work with xxxx company.
VO: what is your salary.
ME: xxxx dollars
VO checked the LCA for the salary confirmation
VO: what is your highest qualification
ME: Masters of computer applications.
VO: have you read this white pamplet,
ME: no anyone didn't provide to me,
she said ok and pass the white pamplet and the golden words had arrived "your visa is approved"
you will get it in a week.
I said thank you..
The overall expeirence is we should be very confident and eye to eye to contact. that's it
and one more thing in my observation now a days they are approving H1 very easily, rather than B1 and L1 visa.

my interview time was 1000 hrs. i reached there at 0945 hrs. got done with document verification in 30 minutes(includes waiting in the queue). got done with finger printing and all in 5 minutes. then directed to the interview counter. interview lasted 3-4 minutes.
interview lady about 40-45 yrs old. nice and polite.

what is your manager name?
US salary?
Traveled earlier (Yes)

what was the purpose of that visit?

I attended the visa interview in Hyderabad. Mine is a EVC model. Initially VO asked normal routine questions name, where do I leave, My employer. Once I mentioned that I have a vendor in between the VO started grilling me about the Employee-Employer relationship for good 20 mins. I answered all the questions confidently. But at the end of the interview she gave me a 221g saying my application "Administrative Processing".

ME: warm smile and waited

me: gave
VO: verified the salary numbers by calling out loud and gave W2 back
VO: what do you do?
me: said (brief not more than 30 secs)
VO: typing something says your visa is approved and will receive in courier

VO: wait,there's a note on your passport for bubbles on your bio page (my passport back page is not in good condition film is separating)
me: ok sir and smiling
VO: checked the first page tries to peel the film off saying "bubbles bubbles" but did not

Got Visa after 221g
Hi
I attended PA on Jan 20th and got 221g green form, Petition returned to USICS for further review.
After 2 months, March 20th VFS asked to me submit passport within in a week march 27 i got the passport with visa stamped.
If your petition is perfect means you dont have to worry about the visa.

Successful H1b Stamping from Chennai COnsulate after 221g and 3.5 mons waiting
i have attended for H1b Stamping in december 2nd week along with my wife who is atttending her H4 stamping.
I have been working in USA for the past 4.5 yrs and it is my 2nd time for H1b Stamping. I am on EVC model.
I had to go through 3 rounds of interview at chennai conulate.
First round: American VO took all the documents like client letter, letter to USCIS, Vendor letter, and all the original H1b docs..
Second round: Indian VO officer 30 mins of interview around employer-employee relationship...common Qs which u find in all the forums...
Third round: American VO says Visa cannot be issued at this time as it needed further review...but kept passport with them...
Atfter 2 mons i received my passport in email...wit a 221g form saying "The petition is being returned to USCIS for further review. Upon completion of the review USCIS will contact your petitioner. Please wait for a notification from the Consulate before returning".
After another 1.5 mon received a package from VFS which contains my docs and another 221g to submit my passport..
i submitted my passport and with in a week i received H1b visa and my wife H4 visa stampings done..
