I had my H1 B interview on 9th April 2012, VO is very cool guy and below is the discussion:
VO: Who are u ?
Me: Told abt the company which I am working for and my Role in the organization.
VO: Who is u r client?
Me: Since I am not going to work at client place , I my company name and even told that I am a direct employee.
VO: How long r you working with current organization?
Me: Answered appropriately
VO: What is your work location in US?
Me: Answered appropiately.( Just verify the location in your petation , it has to be same )
VO: What is your Highest qualification?
Me: Answered appropriately.
VO: Have you seen this Phamplet?
Me: Yes I saw this phamplet, it talks about the rights in US of a non -imgrient workers.
Then finally VO said your VISA is approved it will reach you in week's time.
For those who will attended for US Visa, my suggestion is be confident about your self, but the same time not to be over confident. Also answer to the questions in simple manner don't drag the answers too long unless VO has specifically asked.

VO was little disappointed with the previous person she (VO) interviewed. She mentioned to the applicant to listen to the question before answering and also make sure to ask again if applicant doesn’t understand the question.
But the applicant at the end got visa approved.
My turn now:
ME: Good Morning.
NO time to greet there. There was a rush environment.
VO: who is your company?
VO: Who is the client?
VO: Sorry again.
VO: What does it do?
VO: Is this your renewal?
Me: NO. I had a F! visa previously.
VO: what is your School Name?
VO: Did you see this white Pamphlet?
VO: You will receive your passport in 10 days.
Me: Thanks

I was in US from jun 2009 to dec 2010. I came back to india on 1st jan 2011. my visa expired on sept 2011 now i have filed my new petition for new H1 again and i have to attend the interview soon so worried for my last year W2 as I had dispute with my employer and I am not having it yet.
Any guidance or suggestions will be appreciated.

My interview was schedule at 10 AM 30th March, I reach there by 9 AM, it took 1 and half hr to go through long Q, and Security check.
ME: GM, Sir,
VO: No reply
VO: Your passport please
ME: forwarded my passport
VO: Your petition Please
Me : forwarded
VO: Where are you going?
Me: ZZZ
VO: your client?
Me: ZZZ
VO : who is your employeer?
Me: ZZZ
VO: what is your Salary in US?
Me: ZZZ
Vo: Who is your Manager?

Vo: is he from client or your employeer

(Vo started writing smthing in his computer, after 2 min)
VO: Due to your last name, we need to send your application for some additional Admin processing, it may take few weeks to few months.
given me the yellow slips with a URL I need to check for status
VO: please take your passport and keep watch on this URL
VO: have you gone through this white paper? this is your rights when you work in US.
VO: thank you for your time sir, have a nice day
One thing I was not sure is I have all my certificates from 1996 till date then why he want to send my application for Admin processing. any ways officer was good, he was decent and soft spoken. I really thank him for that. since last year my L1B for rejected and officer was very rude.
Guyz be cool, answer should match with your petition else VO will reject your visa or will ask for more documents.

New H1B petition approved with 1 year validity
Hi All,
My new H1B petition is approved and validity is given only for one year (Feb 2013),despite my employer submitted all docs related work engagement for 3 years.
Please guide me
1.any specific reasons behind getting this 1 year validity.
2.Is this normal case or something rarely happen?
3.Can I able to do anything for extending the validity
Please guide me. My PA is on 11th Apr

Background: I am working for a indian MNC and process visa from another US company
Before going to interview I consolidated the entire question from immihelp and sort it out, it came around hardly 25 questions, in that 10 question are same but differently framed
The question asked to me
VO: Hi good morning sir
ME : hi good morning mam how are you
Vo: I am fine how are you
Me : I am doing good
Vo: so you going to work in YYYY company
Me : Yes mam
Vo : are you going to work at client place
Me : no mam , I am going as a direct employee to YYYY company
Vo : so what will you do there
Me: I will be work in a product named YYYY in YYY technology
Vo : oh what is the YYYY product about
Me : explained her slowly in 2 lines
