Hi All,
I attened H1-B Interview in the month of March and Issued 221(g). I submitted all required docs in the month of June 2001. Y'day I recived a courier from VFS and asked me to send passport.
It means that my got approved.
Can any one please tell me on this

Hi,
I sumbitted all my docments(except passport) for 221(g) and Y'day I got mail from VFS and they returned all my docs what I submitted and metioned that "send passport". Did this mean my visa got approved?
I submitted today at VFS bangalore...Please let me know when can I get my passport back.

Got H1b stamp at chennai on 1st july
First of all thanks to Immihelp.you guys are doing wonderful job.
I have got my H1b approval from Chennai on 1st July.
Interview was very easy and cool.I went with my wife who has very bad US visa history.She got rejected for 4-5 times..
we both were in tension before our inteview,since VO was rejecting/issuing 221(g).......
I must say that if you are working for US Company then you will find really easy.they are not asking more Qs if you works for US based company.
here are the interview Qs :
To me :

L1 visa rejected. what are the chances of H-1B getting rejected ?
Hi,
My L1 Blanket visa was rejected with a blue slip stating "not clearly approvable" last week.
Because i used the word "maintenance" along with
Research and Development.
Now my company is ready to process my H1-B visa.
Will they ask me why my L1 got rejected ?
If yes, what should my answer be ?

1. Where is your husband working?
2. Where is the companies head-quarter?
3. When will you get married?

HI Everyone,
I've attended my interview morning 7 30 slot.
You will be guided till you reach the Visa officer... so dont worry about it, stay cool.
Let me share my 15-20 second interview questions with you
Me: Good Morning
VO: GM... can i have the folder(Green folder conatining all the documents)
VO: Whats your Highest Qualification
Me : I did my PG in --- with specialization -- from-- institute
VO: Which client would you be working for?
Me: I will be working for --- from -- location
VO: your application has to go through some administrative processing.. please wait you will be called again...
Me: Thank you .... With smile.. (But inside it was like "Administrative What...?...?")
Immediately as I was coming back from counter my number appeared on the screen i went to the counter mentioned..
There was an indian in this counter... She took all my documents... arranged some of them... tore on of the papers... (I was not really sure what she was doing)... returned my Petiotion alone... and a 221(g) pink slip.
Asked me to send a bunch of documents in a plane txt format .... there was a big list... she was stressing on the client's invitation letter.
I ve sent all the documents the next day.
Got my visa stamped in 3 weeks from submitting the documents through email.
From what i understand if any of our document is missing or VO finds that a Background verification has to be done... we will get 221(g)
The time take is not specific might vary from 1 month to 3 months

VO greeted me before I greeted him. Officer was very friendly.
Q) Did you had a US visa on your lost passport? Ans: No

Total interview time : 1 min approx.
Visa approved.

---------H1 -B ... DONT PANICK ----
!!!!! The US CONSULATE at hyderabad does not have any parking place..so please plan accordingly.
My visa interview flow :
GATE security : verfied the appointment letter + passport -----> directed to BEP queue ;
BEP queue : provided me the FEE receipts which my employer has already submitted + a white pamplet (its about rights & obligations in US) and
directed me to cross the security check counter after which i was lead to the finger print scan at counter 8.
Finger print SCAN : A person came to collect the appointment letter ...... and helped me to scan my finger print ( Incase you have any injuries /cuts on any of the 10 fingers, do carry a medical certiicate).
Once the scan is done ...I was asked to move to the waiting hall to collect the token number and wait for my number to turn up ....in order to give the most awaiting interview.
DONT GET PANICKED seeing visas getting rejected in front of you ....the same may not happen to you :)
2 applicants standing infront of me ..their visas were rejected ..... thought the VO was on fire & he would take the hat-trick..
