Successful visa but I-797 was not sent
Hi,
This is Sesi.A. I attended Chennai Consulate on 21st Nov 2006 for
H1-B where few of my documents are taken(I-797,I-129,Client Offer letter,DS-156,157 ..) and were not returnned.I was given with a Blue
handout(Additional Administrative Processing) and the Visa Officer said
that she will get back.On Jan 23rd 2007 I got a mail from Chennai
Consulate for documents(DS-156,157,photos,mail copy) and I submitted those through VFS and I got my Visa on Feb 7th 2007,but my documents are not returned(I-797,I-129,Client Offer letter).
I mailed to embassy so many times and reply was,couldn't find the documents.As i am not having the original I-797, i will not allowed at the port of entry.I told to my employer and she had applied for a duplicate copy of I-797 and I came to know tht it will take some 6 months to arrive.
So my confussion is,should i travel or not or else wait for the document to come..
So please if anyone came accross this kind of situation plz do mail

H1 successful after 221(g)
First or all i thank all the friends who shared their exp in this site.
On jan 18th i went 2 Delhi for stamping, but they issued me 221(g) saying that they require some more documents. I returned them on March 8th, after 12 days i received my passport with visa stamp

H1b Rejected
Hi Friends,
First of all i would like to thanks every one who posted their suggestions and experiences.
Unfortunately my H1b has been rejected after droping all the required documents in the drop box againt 221(g).
Now H1b papers are being returned to USCIS. Did any body face this situation. Is there any chance of getting visa after this situation.
Please share your experience.

please help me regarding client letter under 221g
Hi,
Iam raghunadh.I have attended Chennai Consulate on march 15th.VO has given me blue handout to bring additional doc's(drop box) wage reports,tax returns,client letter.
My employer have so many clients, but my employer told me that they dont want to disclose their clients to the consulate.
He is ready to give one supporting letter(letter head of my employers on that they are giving the details of clients .once i reach U.S they are going to place me one of their clients ).
Is it enough for me instead of client letter.

drop box - 221(g) - with passport
Hi,
I have dropped the answers for my 221(g) query in hyd on march 27th. But i did't hear anything from consulate. It is 10 working days . I would like to know whetehr i recive my passport if my query not qualified immediately. I am seeing some of the guys stucked for months with 221(g) at consulate. In such case can i send a request to return my passport.

as i previously had all approvals.
The consular officer issued me
a Yellow form (AAP) and didnt take any

He mentioned that \this is referred
to Fraud Unit.
I have no idea how long this is
going to take..

Name of firm is : Mindlance Inc,New Jersey.
