Hi All,
I attended the interview on Feb 26'th along with my wife. VO asked me about the company and the project details. I told them i am going to work for some xxx client. After that she did something in the computer and asked me how my skill set matches with that client requirement. Then i replied how my current skill set is and how it matches with the client's requirement. Then she asked me how did i get this Job. Then I replied her that i have seen the propjects this company is doing in their website and i applied on-line. Then later they conducted me set of interviews and finally selected me. Immediately after that she asked me to show the un-employment wages report. Unfortunately its the only document i missed. And i told her i don't have. Then she issued famous 221G blue form by marking all the documents except the first two from the company side.
Please answer me the following questions
1)Coming to my wife, what are all the documents i have to submit. I know the following docs.
a) Marriage certificate b)Marriage photo's
Do i need to submit the original Marriage certifictae or xerox is enough? If i submit original will they send me back?
Please let me know what are all my wife's docs do i need to submit

H1B - Sent for Employer Verification ( Took All ORIGINAL Donuments) - No 221G
Hello READERS ,
Just wanted to share with you, my experience with the US consulate – I had got your mail Id from the ImmI.Help website where you have posted your experience, so thought experience and advice will be of great help to me.
I had been to the Chennai consulate initially on the 11th of Jan’2007, The Interview went on fine, but all of a sudden the Interviewer wanted few documents from my employer and gave be the most famous 221(G) Blue form (when I said it was an In house project) – I was asked for around 4 documents namely – Tax returns, Wage reports, Complete service itinerary and List of Employees. My employer had promptly sent all the required documents within 3 weeks time (All Docs Notarized) and then I had attended the interview on the 28th of Feb at around 9AM.
On my second visit, they took all the documents that have asked around 9.30 with my application, Passport and others. I waited for almost 4 hours and there was no response what so ever. There was a lady who was taking control of the staff there; I approached her explaining my situation. She was kind enough to take a note of my application and immediately reacted to it, and I was called within 5 mins, it was the same lady who had interviewed me last time. Without even speaking to me or allowing me to say anything she said. “We are satisfied with your eligibility for the application, but we are NOT satisfied with your employer providing you a job in the US”. She had taken all the Documents provided that day along with the (All Originals) I 797 + LCA + I 129 + DS 156 and 157. She told me that ‘We shall have to send these applications to USCIS and then we shall get back to you’. (** I was NOT given any form of any kind – did not mention Administrative processing or what so ever) – Is there any MAIL ADDRESS or any contact Information, then Please Pass On them to me…?
So, I was very doubtful about the whole thing, when would they get in contact with me? How much time would it take?
Did you get any response what so ever from them? Did they intimate anything from their side after that day?
Please provide me any little piece of information that you have or known, it will be of great use to me. Incase in the future also if you get to know something about this, and then please do keep me in Mind…

Got VISA after 221g AAP
To all who are stuck up with 221g AAP,
I attended the interview on Dec 11. I was given 221g blue form AAP for my client letter. I mailed thrice to the consulate for the status and all the times got the same reply that my adminitrative process is pending.
I got a mail from ChennaiAFU on Feb 22nd asking to send the passport,DS forms, I797 approval notice, one self addressed envelope and one photo. I sent it on Feb 23rd.I got my passport on Mar 1st. So all those who are stuck just have faith .If your case is genuine you will get your Visa. All the best for future aspirants.

If they asked you to drop the papers you should drop them in VFS office only ,you should not attend in person because they will make note of everything they say and if we go beyond their say it may result in one more query.Regarding the template your employer has to send the documents requested by them you cannot prepare as such .if they come to know that you have prepared them that results in filing legal case against you as it happened to one of my friend .
And immigration people are trained such that they can easily identify fake documents.
Even i got 221g and they asked me all these docs and my employer sent me the requested docs in 2 months and i dropped them and got my visa within 0ne week.I was not having market analysis for internal project but instead i have submitted client letter.So request your employer to provide those docs but never go for fake docs,if he is not ready to send them pls cacel ur application and then apply for a reasonably good consultant.

H1 exp at Delhi consulate
hi,
I went for my personal appearence at Delhi consulate 3days back. It was pretty simple for me without any hassle. But, only time i get irritated was standing in the queue. The Q was pretty long, it took three and half hours to get my turn. My interview was at 11.45 and i was in the main Q (after initial document check and finger prints) by 10.35am. By 12, all the VOs went for lunch and came back at 1.15. My turn came at 2. It last less than 1min. I went like
Myself : Hello mam, Good Afternoon.
VO: very good afternoon. Can I have ur PP please
Myself : Sure(and handed over the PP, DS-156, DS-157, I-797)
VO: How long you have been working with ZZZ(I wore my id card of my company where i'am working currently)and wat is your total exp..
myself: xxx and xxx
VO:watz your current salary
Myself: xxx
VO: how did you get this offer
myself: my sister is working with the same consulting company and she has referred me.
VO: how many employees are working with the consultant:
myself: xxx
VO: How much the consultant pay you in US?
myself: xxx
VO: Do you have any other relatives working in US?
Myself: xxxx
and the GOLDEN words from VO
VO: your Visa has been granted and your will receive your PP with in 3working days.

The VO is a young lady and she looked so relaxed that day. I went with almost all the documents(PP, DS-156, DS-157, I-797, LCA, my project work order, offer letter, unemployment wage report of my consultant, tax filings of my consultant for the last two quarters, original education certificates, exp letters). but, she didn't even ask for a single document.
My sincere advise is:
1.Be cool & confident
2.Don't show any emotions
3. If VO ask for any document don't jump in to your bunch of docs. Tell the VO something tat 'I've the document mam. can you gimme 2mins, i'll get those docs for you'. If u start searching without these kind of words, the VO don't know whether you have the docs or not.
4. The document list i've specified above are from 8 of my friend's exp at chennai consulate. So i've asked for all those docs from my consultant. So check for all those docs before attending the interview.
5. Finally, You can attend your personally appearence(PA) any consulate in india. I am from hyderabad and moreover i booked my PA at chennai consulate & cancelled it earlier. Now I booked PA at Delhi. So better go for Delhi/Mumbai consulate.

Got 221G
Hi All,
I have received 221G on 8th Dec 2006 and I have submitted all the documents at VFS on 5th FEb 2007. I have submitted notarized unemployment wage reports produced by ADP, USA. But VO had issued 221G again saying that the employer should not submit ADP reports. I was confused and my employer said that ADP is one of the well recognized company who files taxes electronically. Could any one please give me more details about unemployment wage reports.
