I am an applicant for H1B Visa & attended the visa interview on 7th march 2007 at chennai consulate.
I hav a real time experince of 31 months in oracle but the company for which I work is a small company
At the interview the VO suspected my Work Experience and wanted to go for an enquiry regarding the same. The VO has returned my Passport, keeping in hand the following documents:
1) My Present Company Offer Letter
2) Experience Letter
3) Pay Stubs
4) Current Company Photographs
5) Prospective company Petition Letter
6) I797B
7) Labor condition Application (LCA)
8) I129
She replied “We will Come back to You Soon Sir" after enquiring about your experience & has not given me any kind of form in return, except my passport. Neither 221(g) nor anything else, it was only a word from her.
My Query is: 1) After how many days & How will i be intimated regarding the status again?
2) How many days may the whole process of enquiry take?
3) How can I know the status of the enquiry from time to time?
4) How can I contact without having any kind of form in hand (like 221(g) or etc?
Please respond to my query at the earliest possible

As per my analysis..Computer back ground like MCA,B.tech in computers or any other having 2 years of experience will not have problem..please all others support your experience to show them that you have computers background...again this is my guess only...

Nothing succed like success.I m sharing my H1B stamping Exp to Mumbai.Before going to any consulate, u need to be very carefull of not showing any fake doc.
I went to Mumbai on 5th of march for my H1B stammping.here is given below the conversion with VO.I m really thankfull to my pettioner for providing all supporting doc like(unemp wage reports, financial statements, w2 forms, tax papers, in house project details with marketing analysis, lease agreement, list of beneficiary..so on..some 15 sets of doc..)

Got 221(g) at chennai consulate
Hi all,
I had attended my interview on october 10th, VO asked for client letter, project details. Unfortunately i don't have all those documents.
I was given 221(g)- Blue form with check all my employer details (check all 11 boxes) and asked me to drop those documents by VFS drop box.
After lot of efforts , i am getting my documents from my employer,
I just like to know, whether i have to re-fill DS-156 form again for sending docurments in Drop box and I can use the old DS-156.
What is the gaurantee ,if people got 221(g) with all checks . Is there any chance to get visa.
I can strongly say , getting visa is based on our Fate. Does not depend on our Qualificaitons/experience and others.
Do i have to fill New DS-156 again while sending required documents throught VFS??

at that time i was really frustarated.
on march 2nd i got all the documents from my employer.
then i have attended again on 5th.
the visa officer has checked all the documents provided.
then approved my visa.
so people who got 221(g) dont need to worry at all the only thing that depends is ur luck and officers mood

I had received a letter and my passport saying that Chennai Consulate is no longert handling my case and the docs have been sent to USCIS with a group id on the top that we see in the Chennai consulate site AAP case status pdf.
Does this mean a reject or is it an AAP?
