Additional Administrative Processing at New Delhi on 14th Feb 2007
Hi Everybody,

It was a very bad experience for me at Delhi Embassy on 14th Feb.

Here are the my experience details..

My interview time was at 11:00am..I have reached there by 9:45am.

Security check was over by 10am. VFS guys will be helping to arrange the documents.
I was in the queue for finger prints, it took
nearly one hour.

So by 11am, I have joined in the main queue (for non immigrant visa line). I was in the queue for 2hrs.
By 1pm my turn has come. Exactly Visa Officer's shift has been changed.

For me Visa officer is a guy of 26 to 28yrs. Freshly he has played a game with me.

He has checked my Educational certifications and I hope he has got some doubt. My qualification is Master of Engineering. Not a Computer Science branch.

for me, they took DS-156, Ds-157, LCA, I-129 petition details,US Company offer letter, US Company current project documents, Current (india) company offer letter and experience, appraisal letters.

i was issued AAP(additional administrative processing).
I have been given a Yellow form on which this paragraph( related to AAP) is marked.

By chance,if anyone has faced same problem, here are my questions.

Which color form you've been issued ?

Which documents they've taken from you for the first time ?

If you send me a reply, it'll be really a very great helpful for me.
Please help me out.

Thanks and Regards,
Kiran

Secured H1 visa after 221(G)
Hi, I would like to narrate my exp with H1 stamping so that it might benefit others. I had H1B interview on 4 Dec 2006 and was issued 221(G) due to lack of documents from my company side. The visa officer specifically told me that on my side my documents were clear, also it helped that I had been to US before on Business visa. I asked my consultant for the documents and he duefully provided me this month. Applied through drop box facility at Bangalore and got H1 stamped within a week.
From my exp I want to re-iterate that if anyone is going for H1 intw pls carry your company's tax documents and unemployement wages report. Especially in CHennai consulate they wont issue a visa without these documents. This holds true only for small companies in US, big MNC's get H1B's without any trouble as they already have a good reputation.
If anyone has got 221(G) dont worry, provide all the right documents asked and you will get the visa. Hope this helped.

Successful H1 and H4 visa stamping at Mumbai on 12th Feb
Hi friends,

First of all I thanks to all the members of this community who posted their experience and interview details. My interview was schedule on 12-Feb-2007 at Mumbai. And my interview time was 12.00 PM.I attend the interview with my wife, we were waiting almost 2 hours but luckily our interview completed within 3-4 minutes.

The lady interviewer took our interview and asking just normal questions, she was asking questions as a bullet and we answered it very confidently.

The lady didn’t asking about any documents, not even offer letter or petition.

Me: Very Good Afternoon Mem.
Vo: Hi! Very good afternoon.

Vo: Give me your token no coupon.
Me: given the token no coupon.

Vo: Where are you working right now?
Me: At Big MNC, At City (It is a very big software company from US) I think she knows about my current company.

Vo: Why you want to come to the US?
Me: To work as a (position) in (US company name), located at (place)

Vo: How did you get this job?
Me: answered

Vo: What is your current salary?
Me: answered

Vo to my wife: When did you get married?
My wife: answered

Vo to my wife: It is arranged marriage/ love marriage?
My wife: answered

Vo to my wife: How did you meet this gentlemen?
My wife: answered

Then it write some statement in her PC and told us that "Ok ! I am approving your visa ! Good Luck to both of u."

My personal tips for all who will be appeared for interview

1) Arrange all documents and give it to VO if he/she ask
2) Be confident
3) wear professional dress at least tie
4) Wear your id card of current company

VO didn't any single documents from me not even marriage certificate. But keep all the documents ready. And one more thing H1B is very easy if you are genuine employee having good experience and your employer having good status in US.

So Be confident and attend the interview...... Best of luck

Regards,
MSM
