i went to the interview on dec 27th with my tax forms employment letters and employer in u.s letters and tax returns from two years.
vo: u r engg certificate.
me: gave it.
vo: u r experience lettrs in india.
me: shown it.
vo: expertise.

gave me 221(g) blue slip and told to put the employee wage recors from there and put them in drop box.
feb 12th:put the requested papers in drop box.
feb 15th:221(g) blue form for additional administrative processing.
feb 17th:221(g) white form saying its refused or suspended under 221(g)and chennai counslate no longer handels the case...?
now frens can i reapply r wat or the future actions to be taken frens please advice..?

Regarding California 221g form
Hi,
I recently received the 221g form at Chennai consulate and they have requested the state unemployment wage report from California. My employer says that he does not have the state forms, but only has the federal equivalent form 941. Is it okay to provide the 941 federal wage reporting form? Will the visa officer accept this? Has anyone had the same experience. Please advice.

Was issued 221 G blue hand out in 2005...is it denial.. the wensite says not to contact the consulate till they get back.. also they stamp the date ont he last page of my passport? what does this mean? Am i eligibile to apply this year in this circumstances.. ??? if yes cna i apply at different consulate?pls let me know

H1 and H4 visa interview
Hi all,
I would like to share our interview experience. I attended Chennai consulate for my first time H1 and H4 for my wife. I had H1 sponsored from reputed US university. All the VO asked was for my petition details, LCA, and pay slips. He told both of us that we have got visa. Then he said that my wife would need to apply with new passport as there was slight damage in her old passport (the lamination on last page was coming off around the edge) and was issued 221(g)for that. She applied with new passport and got her visa stamped in a week time.
Friend, the important lesson learned is be very careful about the passport and keep it in safe/secure place. Take care to see it has not even slight damage to it (first, last page should be stain free, the lamination of hard cover should be good, protect from water/moisture). Hope my experience could help others.

Once rejection twice shy
Dear Friends,
My H1 got rejected last year March 2006.. got stamped ( the date) on the last page of my passport thought they gave me a 221G blue one.
CAN I APPLY NOW for 2007? 1 yr time gap is okay?
Will I get my visa if apply in another consulate?
