Hi ,
I have sent my application for my minor son passport renewal on June 23 , and I was seeing the status as on hold on July 3. With. Comments " the online nri application form missing parents signature , so please reprint the form and after either parent sign the form in page 4 " . I am totally confused , this form has only 5 pages and on 5 th page it's says the applicant should sign , so I made my kid to sign the form and sent it to ckgs. But they are confusing by wrongly mentioning the page no and am not sure both applicant and parent has to sign or only parent need to sign.
Also in commets it's mentioned like I need to notorise the form . But when I sent first time in ckgs check list they did not asked notory sign for online application form which we fill in emphasy website .

No update from NY CKGS from last 2 weeks
Hi,
I got an email from NY CKGS on 23rd of June regarding the incomplete documentation. I shipped the missing document along with that email on 24th June and I got a notification from FEDEX that it got delivered on 25th.
After that I did not get any kind of notification from CKGS and its almost 2 weeks. In the CKGS website it still showing incomplete documentation from 23rd June. I put the feedback/complaint last week but still no update. Anyone faced similar problem?

Minor Passport Affidavit Issues
I am seeking assistance from anyone who can advise ASAP. When I am trying to fill CKGS application for my minor son, in the " Change of Appearance " affidavit , it shows Surname + First Name instead of First Name + Surname. I tried to fill-up application twice with different USAS IDs but same error every time. Did anyone also faced this issue ?
The other affidavits ( D and E) are correct. I am not sure if this is system intentionally doing or some error actually happening on the website. I sent many queries to CKGS but no response so far. I am not sure if they will reject the application due to this error or not.
Can the viewers please advise , specially those who filled-up their kids's application for renewal ? Thank You

Status not getting updated on CKGS from Received to Verified
Hello Friends,
I submitted my minor son's passport to CKGS SF and it is in Received Status since 26-June and still I am waiting for documents verification confirmation as next step from CKGS.
Does anyone else also experiencing such delay for Indian passport renewal process?

I am in progress with my son's passport renewal process. Our package has reached on June 29th, 2020 (FedEX status - Delivered - Houston). But in CKGS website there is no update in the status. It is not showing as "Received". Has anyone faced this issue. Please help.

Passport renewal experience at NewYork location - June 2020
Sent old passport along with application & documents on 15th June; received the new one and old one (as cancelled) on 1st July; Used CKGS-provided FEDEX shipping both ways; Total processing time 17 calendar days.
So little slower than usual, but no complaints (Before COVID-19 shutdown, usual turnaround time was 8-10 days).
Note: Did not receive email updates on last day when they received the passport back from consulate and dispatched to me. Found the status update and Fedex tracking# from MyAccount on CKGS website. So, keep checking under MyAccount if you have not received the email updates.

Now i'm confused with the next step it says "Ship the Incomplete documents along with the Money Order/ Bankers Cheque/ Cashiers Cheque (if applicable) to your Visa Application Center"

2. I'm not sure for how much amount i need to send payment(money order).
