On Jun 30, 2020 status updated to "Your Application is 'On Hold' due to the 'Incomplete Documents'" (The printed font of the Online Passport Application form is TOO SMALL)
Now i'm confused with the next step it says "Ship the Incomplete documents along with the Money Order/ Bankers Cheque/ Cashiers Cheque (if applicable) to your Visa Application Center"
1. I did not receive any email about shipping instructions like print with application barcode.
2. I'm not sure for how much amount i need to send payment(money order).
If any one encounter such please let me know the steps you have taken.

CKGS Indian passport re-issue questions--please help

I'm an Indian national who emigrated to the US with my parents as a teenager, and am currently an LPR (green card holder).
Unfortunately I neglected to renew my Indian passport for several years (no excuses besides that I was in college and had a lot of financial and other worries).
Looking at the CKGS process, it seems complex--I have a number of questions that I hope experienced folks here can answer.
1. CKGS and the Indian govt. website *seem* to allow you to change your primary and secondary address to a non-Indian address.
However, I've read elsewhere that they need an Indian address for verification. Unfortunately I have no address in India or ties to anyone there at present. Will this be a problem? Apparently there's some sort of police verification involved, can they complete the verification with just my name and city of birth and perhaps the old address on the passport?
2. I never had an Aadhar or PAN number prior to emigration. Is this a problem?
3. My expired passport also appears to be an "old style" passport and I can't find the 'file number' that the application asks for. According to some online advice I can enter a file number such as '1234' as a placeholder, but I'd appreciate some confirmation from folks here.
4. Is it required that I enter my spouse's name? It seems irrelevant but the Indian govt. website seems to require it if married.
5. Any advice or common 'gotchas' with CKGS applications would be helpful. I've read that I need to provide a letter indicating why I'm renewing my passport, which seems strange, but I can do that--any tips there?

NY Passport Reissue
I have sent my passport renewal application on 06/21/2020 and I can see fedex delivered it on 06/23/2020. But the status on the portal still shows not received. I understand that there are delays but its been more than 72 hours now. I have dropped a note to customer feedback to check but no response from there. I also tried calling them not even that is closed. Has anyone faced similar issue and could please suggest what should I do.

SFO Passport Reissue
Got my passport renewed after the embassy reopened on June 1st. Sharing the timeline. Hopefully it helps others.
Submitted the standard set of documents. I had no address change.
I also had submitted 2 extra passport photos which CKGS returned along with the old & new passport.

Passport Reissue for child - Washington
Hi All,
I have submitted online applicaiton for my child passport renewal in Feb and sent the documents via Fedex in March, however it was returned from WA embassy at that time due to covid situation. Return courier didn't have money order (~100$). Recently i could see WA embassy reopened, however CKGS phone number doesn't work / don't get response for feedbacks submitted in their portal (they used to respond within a day or so before covid situation), however now i didn't receive a response even after couple of weeks. I had some doubt, would really appreciate if someone could help
1) My child's passport got expired couple of days ago though we submitted application months ago, it's just they couldn't accept due to covid situation. Does anyone know if i have to produce any additional docs in this situation / i can just send the same set of documents i mailed before?
2) As i mentioned i sent a money order of 100$ in my original application, which wasn't returned along with return shipment. Couple of days ago i received a cheque from CKGS for 50$. Did anyone have a similar situation / know how to handle this?

Notary Document 'Middle Name' required for Passport Renewal?
Hi,
I am applying for the passport renewal. I got my documents notarized from UPS.
UPS gave me a separate document with the notarized signature on it. But that document only has my first and last name.
My question is, does the UPS notarized certificate need to have my middle name spelt on it too for passport renewal? Or just my first and last name will be ok?

Passport renewal at SFO embassy
Hi, is anyone waiting for passport renewal with SFO where your status changed to 'with embassy' on the 19th? I had also requested for change of address (aadhar copy given). Mine has been showing this status of 'with embassy' since 19th. I know it is not even a week, but just checking if anyone see further updates if your status changed to 'with embassy' on the 19th. Please report.
