Hi

I had my L1 blanket visa approved today, thanks to all who shared their experience.

But to be frank, all the approval and rejections are purely on luck especially for L1 Blankets.

Questions asked
1. What is your specialization
2. Why only you?
3. What is your client
4. How long you been with this client.
Just a small input from my side, do not use the words SAP, JAVA, .NET, Testing, Web services, C and C++ even though you are working on them. As they are not considered to be in specialized category.

All the best for your best of luck guys.

L1-B Visa expiry
Hello,

My query is regarding my L1-B visa expiry. I have a visa expiry date of May 2012 but an I-94 of March 2013 (nearly a year). My company says they can initiate extension of the visa 6 months before the expiry of I-94. That leaves me without a visa but a valid I-94 for about 10 months. While I realize I am still eligible to stay in USA,
1. Am I eligible to WORK in the USA since my L1-B is expired?
2. Can I invite my parents to the USA, since I neither have a visa nor an extension petition?

Anyone help in this matter will be appreciated. Thanks and have a happy new year.
- Subhajit

L1B Rejected
The VO has become very strict so be aware to apply it to L1B category. They will reject whatever reason you gave. If you are patent holder or a scientist then you have better chance.
