My L1-B rejected @Hyderabad Consulate today.
There were not many questions to prove my experience or to show case my specialized knowledge in my company's proprietary tool.
my experience is like below;
me: Good Morning Sir
VO: Good Morning.
VO: what's your experience with your present company
me: 5 years and 5 months
VO: what's your designation
me: I have told my designation in the company
VO: who's your client
me: YYYY X, the client's nature of business
VO: how long you are in this project
me: 14 months..
VO: what's your specialization
me: I am specialized in my company's YYYY tool which is used for implementing solutions to the clients
(Interrupted)VO: everyone from your company is saying they are specialized in this tool, apart from this tool what else do you work on
me: I have told that I have around 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE technolgoies.
(interrupted) VO: Can't your company hire professionals in the technologies that you are specifying in US?
me: I told him that apart from the technology, I have understood the client's business and provided solutions to client's business changes.
(interrupted) VO: I am rejecting your petition as you are not eligible under L1-B category. Please inform your HR to file visa application in another category i.e.,H1 or L1-individual.

Last month L1B rejected now my company is planning for L1 Individual.

L1 Blanket Visa approved - HYD consulate
Thanks to the immihelp site for helping the people to share their experiences.
After all checkins completed, waited for 15 minutes for the interview.
VO asked the below questions during interview.
1) How long you are working with your company?
2) What is your specialized skill?
3) How you selected as a specialized from your team?
4) what is your current salary?
5)Proposed salary in Dollars?
6) Who is your client?
VO stressed more on specialized knowledge. After answering the above questions, VO looked in to the documents for 2 mins and finally he said that, your VISA has been issued, it will reach you in 4 working days.

L1A blanket & L2 visa interview was at 11am at Chennai consulate. Actual interview happend at 12:20pm.
Questions:
1. Did you have US visa before?
Same question asked to my wife also......
2. What is you position?
3. What is your salary per annum in ruppees?
4. What you will be doing at overseas?
5. How many people will be in your team?
6. How many will be on site?
7. Whom you will be report to?
After this visa offcier told us "I am approving your visa".
No other question to my wife.

My husband ( L1 individual) and I (L2 dependent) were scheduled for an interview at New Delhi Consulate.
After initial check of documents and token generation we waited for around 45 mins and were then called for fingerprinting and passport check. Took close to 20 mins to get both the things done and were then asked to wait. After a 15 mins wait we were called.
Us : Good morning Ma'am.
She : (Smiled)
She : Which visa are you applying for
My Husband : L1 individial
She : How long have u been working for ZZZ?
He : YYYY years
She : What is your current designation?
He : Answered
She : what will be your designation in US?
He : Answered
She : Ma'am, when did u get married?
I : Told the date
Was looking into the screen for another 1-2 Mins.
She : Your visa has been approved and you will get your passport in next 5 days.
Our interview lasted for less than 5 miniutes :)

Please file an L1 individual Visa and your company ABC might be knowing the details as they might be sending many people on L1 B.
Also I need to Cancel your B1 as a standard procedure
