L1 and L2 approved
Thanks Immihelp. I got my visa approved on 9th June in Hyderabad. The VO was very polite and had asked the questions usually asked. He has asked about my education qualifications, tenure with the current company, about the client and about my specialization.
My only suggestion is to be confident and clear. You should impress the VO that you have specialized skills.

L2 Visa approved- New Delhi consulate
My appointment for L2 (Spouse) visa was at 10:30am on June 10. I was inside by 11am, and was called for the interview at 1:30pm. I was without my husband, as he is already in the US.
All they asked for was my husband's L1 visa copy (this was an old L1 visa, as he has not come to India to get his new visa stamped), copy of his approval notice, payment receipt, and my passport.
No other documents were asked for. VO was very nice, asked me a few questions abt my husband's L1A individual visa, business, etc. Since I already have 4 US visas on my passport, interview took less than 2 minutes. And then those golden words "your passport will be sent to you in 3-5 days".
Advise- be confident, know your answers, eye contact, and be polite. Good Luck!

L2 visa approved
Hi, my L2 visa got approved yesterday. My husband is already in US, so went alone for stamping my visa.
My passport, DS160 confirmation, interview appointment letter, HDFC receipt (embassy copy), husband's company's BEP letter, husband's approved I-129 copy, I-797 copy, husband's valid visa and passport copy were taken beforehand itself and submitted to the VO before my interview.
Questions asked during interview :
Me : Good morning Ma'm
VO : (Smiled)..Good morning, How r u doing?
Me : Fine Ma'm
VO : Ok, now tell me why do you want to go to US?
Me : To join my husband and spend quality time with him
VO : How long have your husband been there in US?
Me : Mentioned all the dates of his travel including the previous ones and duration of stays
VO : How long are you married?
Me : Since XX months, mentioned the date of marriage
VO : Who is your husband's employer?
Me : YYYY company
VO : Where does your husband stay in US?
Me : YYYY city, YYYY state
VO : Ok let me review your application once more
Me : Sure Ma'm
(typed something in keyboard and read something on the monitor for 2 mins, checked my huband's visa copy and I-94 form copy)
VO : Do you have any kids?
Me :No Ma'm
Then came out the golden words from the VO "We will approve a visa for you to travel to US"
Me : Thank you very much Ma'm. Have a nice day
VO : Smiled , have a nice day.

No other documents were asked from me regarding marriage like marriage certificate or marriage albums although carrying them is a must for all.
Pls speak confidently, look into the eyes of the VO and speak, and the visa is yours...

L1B Approved in Chennai
Many Thanks to this site; I read almost all the posts. I prepared well before going to the interview and that helped me..
My appointment was at 9:15; I reached the consulate by 8 and waited for 15 mins outside. Cleared the security check and other formalities and entered the VISA interview building by 9:00 and waited for an hour for my token number announcement.
Following is my interaction with VO.
Me: Hello ma’am, Good Morning, How are you doing today?
VO: Good, Can I have your folder?
Me: Sure, here it is...
VO: What will be your job profile in USA?
Me: Explained about the new enhancement that I’m going to work on….
VO: What are your specialized skills?
Me: Explained about the tools and methodologies which are proprietary to my company….
VO: what were doing in US when u visited last time? (I visited USA on b1 in 2010)
Me: Explained about the visit….
VO: How long you have been in this project…
Me: told 3 years...
VO: your visa will be delivered to your address within 7 days…
Me: Thanks a lot ma’am, have a nice day.

Few suggestions…
Please prepare very well, since rejection rates are high… be calm, be bold and answer confidently. Eye contact is very important…
