L1B -Blanket Approved @ Hyd
Thanks all for sharing your experiences, I just went through a couple of pages (around 10 pages) of this website and prepared well.It game me a lot of confidence

I already have a visa valid till May this year however it's not valid for present client and work.So I had to apply for a new one.

Following were the question (not all questions are in the same order):

VO: Goodmorning
ME: Goodmorning

VO: So you are working with XYZ company
Me: Yes

VO: You already have a visa valid
ME: I can't use it for the current client, the visa was for a diffenrt client and different work and specialization

VO: Who is you client?
ME: ABC

VO: Can you spell the name
ME: Spelled

VO checked it in internet

VO: What will you do for the client (looking at me)
ME: Answered briefly in one line

VO: Explain more
ME: I explained in 5-6 sentences looking straight at his face , very confidently

VO: So will you write software?
ME: Yes

VO: What technology?
ME: PL/SQL

VO: Have you used the same technology for the previous client?
ME: NO

VO:How long have you worked on PL/SQL
ME: X yrs and Y months

VO: What is the Client's application?(in the mean time he was stamping on the papers and writing something, I got the hint that I will get the visa)
ME: I explained the client's application

VO returned a few docuemnts back and finally told:
"We will send you the passport in a few days"

ME: Thanks and have a goodday.

Points to be noted:
1)Be very confident, answer all your questions confidently.
2)Prepare well for the interview, go through this website and prepare for the question shared here
Be prepared for cross questions.
3) while answering always look at the face of VO.
Don't show nervousness at all
They are not technical people and won't grill you on technical stuff, however they need to be convinced that you have speacialization on a particular skill.

And be well dressed in formals, that will boost your confidence

Cleared My Visa :)). Thanks immihelp
I had my l1b Visa interview at 22 Feb 9.15 AM and got it cleared. I think 9.15 is the peak time for visa interview as i could see around 100 people in the q with me. Thats an advantage as you can relax a bit in the q before being interviewed. Ok coming to the qs

1) Whos ur client
2) wats your project
3) wats ur roles
4) wat are the technology ur using
5) wat is ur experience

Mostly the qs comes frm the answers you give them. So be prepared and Best wishes to you all

This site is amazing in getting the people prepared for the interview as it was to me :))

L1 / L2 Visa Approved at Mumbai
Hey,
For me the questions were almost the same as discussed earlier in this forum. Please go throgh the posts atleast for the first 5 pages.

Few points to share specially for MUMBAI:
1. They are allowing to wear Belt and to carry your wallet inside the counsulate.
2. For female, the security did not allow to carry purse; but a small wallet was permitted. There are lackers avaliable at VFS Stars & Stripes lounge (Rs. 250 per person for all facilities).
3. Your passport would be taken by VFS and a pink token would be handed over to you when you are in the queue outside the counsulate. The token is VVIMP and inside you would be called for the interview based on the token number.
4. No need at all to wear a Tie or a Suit. Its very hot in Mumbai when you stand in the queue and a suit would worsen the situation.

L1-B Approved in Hyd on 17th Feb 2010
Sorry for the delayed post as I had my Interview on 17th Feb 2010, but VO has not handed over me my Form I129's, Hence I was bit tensed for the same.

Here is how my Interview Moved.

Me: Good Morning
VO: Good Morning
Vo: Since how long you are working with this company.
Me: Told X years and X Months
VO : Who is your Clieny
Me : Replied the same.
VO : What is your project all about
Me : Just replied in one word.

Then the Final words came in Saying "Your Visa Application is approved and you will get the same in a weeks time".

But she has not handed over me any docs as there are few people waiting in the queue. So had that tension in mind till I get my passport in hand this Evening. They have couried my passport along with the Signed I129's. Hope this quesry helps for few people.

Thanks a lot for this site.which has given me so confidence...
