How long USCIS is taking on an average these days to send a receipt notice?

I want to know if i can get another visa. I had a voluntary departure in 2011. I was penalized 10 years for overstaying more than a year. I want to get a visitors visa to see my family again. Is there any hope for me???......

I have renewed my Indian passport which was going to be expired after 6 months in normal scheme through VFS and the process was very smooth. I have not faced any issue so far and received my old and new passport within 13 working days. I am very happy with the service provided by VFS. I have mentioned the timeline and my experience:

Dec 24,2020: I couriered the documents through Fedex( VFS provided) on overnight courier but the next day was holiday for Christmas followed by weekend, so it was delivered on Monday morning on Dec 28 th.

Dec 28, 2020 at 4.30 p.m- Got acknowledgement mail from VFS that “ We have received your application and your application is now under review at ICAC in consulate General of India, Houston.”

Dec 30, 2020 at 10 a.m- VFS mailed “ Your Application has been processed at the ICAC and In Transit to the embassy for decision making.

Dec 30 , 2020 at 4 p.m- After tracking VFS website- Your Application has reached the embassy.

Dec 30, 2020 at 5 p.m - After tracking portal4.passportindia.gov.in website the status displayed: “ passport application along with fee details have been received. The same is under processing at the Embassy/ consulate.

Jan 5 ,2021: Still now no more update from VFS. After tracking portal4.passportindia.gov.in website status changed to: “ passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/consulate.

Jan 8, 2021: I was waiting for the police verification mail as I changed the Indian address this time ( same as in my Aadhar card and last known Indian address in self - sworn address)and included spouse name but did not get any police verification mail and saw the status has been changed to: “ Print has been initiated for passport.”

Jan 11, 2021: “ Passport is printed and will be delivered shortly.”

Jan 11, 2021 : “ Passport has been handed over by the Embassy/ consulate to the OSP executive for further dispatch to the applicant.
 
Jan 12, 2021: VFS mailed me : “ Your document is dispatched using the return label purchased or sent by you.

Jan 13, 2021 : Received old passport ( punched and cancelled) and new passport together.

My uncle file immigration for my father in year 1983 we got immigration in 1997 we done all procedure like fingerprint done for all family members above 16 years we are waiting for final interview unfortunately my father was expired before get the immigration visa consular officer he says without principle applicant cant process immigration file
Please suggest me can i re_open my immigration file after 23 years

Hello, i am in desperate help, by chance has anyone filed the waiver with missing documentation, and what was your outcome?
We filled everything out and forgot to send in the NVC Receipts and i also tried to intercept my package with USPS but no luck. It’s sitting at “arrived in Chicago Illinois” status. I was hoping to obtain the package and make the corrections if it was able to be resent back to me.
But now I’m scared of it to be rejected bc of missing documentation and information on waiver. Or what is the worst case scenario, please help ease my mind. Thank you.

Hi, I am a US Citizen and applying to bring my mother through I-130 Petition.
There is a question which says *Have you ever previously filed for this benefieary or any other alien?
I have never filed I-130 to anybody HOWEVE I have filled I-864A financial support to my husband when he filed for his mom which is still in process.
My question is shall I say YES or NO on that question for my I-130 petition to bring my mother.

Missed Biometric appointment for family(h4) which was supposed to on 29th Sep, but we saw the letter in postbox on 30th Sep.
went for walk in to ASC on 1st Oct they did not allowed and asked us to follow the instructions on notice to reschedule. we mailed(express mail) the notice to Biometric processing unit on 1st October as per instructions on notice.
and it reached to them on 2nd October. there is no response so far, can some one please guide how long will it take to get rescheduled appointment?

I am a US citizen and wish to apply for green card for my mother who lives in India; my dad (also in India) does not wish for getting one
right now (maybe later). I have already filed the l-130 application on behalf of my mother (which is under review right now)

So, does this scenario, where my father is not applying for green card at the moment, hurt the chances of getting one approved for my
mother?

Do I need to present specific reasons for the same at any point in the consular process?

Ps: They are still in intact marriage

Need a little help here. I am a US Citizen. I am filing I-130 for my mother. This is my first time filing I-130 application.
In the application it says *Have you ever previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien? I did not file I-130 for anybody HOWEVER, I did filed I-864A for my husband's mother which is still on process. My question is shall I say YES or NO for that question in the I-130 application?

My L1 Extension denied today however my EB1 - I-485 - Interview is competed and it is having "Interview is completed and my case must be review" Status.
I am having my EAD and now switched to EAD Now.
So Does my L1 Extension denial will impact my GC processing as my priority date is March 2018?
