Visitor Visa approved for my Parents at Mumbai Consulate
Hi all,
First of all I would like to thank IMMIHELP for providing such valuable information and which helped my parents for interview and I hope my parents experience will help others too.
My parents attended B2 visa interview in Gujarati Language at Mumbai Consulate according new visa interview process and they got visa for 10 years.
I am on H4 visa and my husband is sponsoring B2 visa for my parents. My parents had attended interview on 19th of October, 2012 and finger print was at 3 pm on 18th October at Mumbai OFC.
Finger print was completed successfully without any complication.
My parents had visa interview at 10 am, they reached consulate at around 8.15 am. They entered in consulate at 8.30 am and interview was completed at 9.30 am. So my advice is you can reach at consulate before an hour then your interview can finish before time.
Questions Asked:
To my Dad:
(1)VO: Good Morning
Dad: Good Morning Sir.
(2)VO: Why do you want to visit USA?
Dad: Excuse me sir I have preferred Gujarati Language for interview.
(So VO has called the Gujarati Translator)
(3) What are you doing?
(4) In which Department?
(5) What is your position?
(6) What is your duty?
(7) What’s your daughter doing in the USA?
(8) What is your son - in - law doing?
(9) What was his previous job?
(10) Where is your daughter living?
(11) Show me your daughter’s passport copy.

To my Mom:
(1) How many children do you have?
(2) What are you doing?
(3) Where are you living?
(4) What is your son doing?
(5) What is his qualification?

At last VO told to my Mom and Dad for finger printing right hand for my Dad and left hand for my Mom and then it was confirmed that they got the Visa.

Then the magical words came, your visa is approved and you will get the passports in a week. (The interview happened on Friday and they got their passport on Wednesday with 10 years visa stamping)

My Dad is Govt. Employee and my Mom is house wife. I have younger brother who is working in India.
It was a very simple interview. He did not check any other documents except daughter’s passport copy. They were prepared with all the required documents. Both Mom and Dad were very confident while answering.

Good luck to all. I am wishing you all for your success in visa interview.
Thank You.

B2 Visa Approval
i had my interview last Nov. 04 in dubai consulate.

here's my profile: i am single, filipino national, more than five years in my work as an accountant, with travel history to europe, active bank account but not much of savings, with pending immigrant petition that is almost current.

questions:

1) purpose of trip.
2) who is _______ (which happens to be my uncle who originally petitioned my father who now resides in the US.
3) who is _______ (my father)
4) do you have travel history?
5) what did you do in europe? (asked about every country i visited)
6) why did you move to uae? answered 'for greener pasteur' and she chuckled don't know why.
7) what is your company name? what does your company do? how long have you been working for them?
8) how much is your salary?
9) do you have an immigrant petition? which visa will you use to be an immigrant in the us?

be short and direct with the answers and do not be afraid to correct the data if the visa officer is mentioning wrong infos in his/her questions. i did correct the visa officer several times. the interview was like a regular chat. i was nervous at first but got relaxed as the interview progressed. i got a one-year multiple entry visa.

thank you for your help Dr. Humen
It’s unbelievable how fortunate I feel after finding your email: [email protected] For the past 7 months, I have been so depressed after losing my fiance to another woman. My money situation worsened so much that I thought I’d have to file for bankruptcy. I had a huge amount of debt and I didn’t know what to do. Out of complete and total desperation, I contacted many of those so-called individuals who promised powerful magic, witchcraft or black magic. None of them worked and none were as wonderful, affectionate and warm as Humen has been. He is definitely different from the others and I felt immediate hope and strength from hearing about the promises he had to offer. He carries an air of purity and divine strength that is as pure as fresh snow on the ground. I requested Humen's most powerful spells and I was relieved right away that I had someone to solve my problems for me. His spells worked wonders and I am now back with my fiance and my money troubles resolved itself after winning the lottery. Humen, I have no idea what I would have done without you being there to help me out.

Got my B1/B2 visitors visa today 10 yrs M from HYD Consulate
Visiting USA for tourism and to meet my sister and brother in law. Started planning early by reading every line relevant to www.immihelp.com 3 months before the interview. Filled Up Form D160 very carefully and 100% accurately and took a print out of the form before submitting. Downloaded the list of mandatory documents and other supporting documents from www.immihelp.com. Sent the list of sponsorship documents to my brother in law to prepare and send it by post after notarizing the same. Organized supporting documents (all originals) into the following categories: 1. Mandatory documents 2. Sponsorship Documents 3. Properties( deeds & pictures), Investments and Bank Statements, Professional Documents like practicing license etc. Income Tax Returns 3 yrs, Pan card etc. 4. Family Documents like Family tree, Photographs with family members. If they have visited USA then their visa etc. 5. Business Documents like MoA, AoA, IT returns, Auditor's Report, . Covering letter to the Consulate, Personal Affidavit and CA's certificate of net worth. You never know what the VO may ask you to show so it is better to be prepared thoroughly. All the questions asked by the VO is to confirm basically 2 things. i. your non-immigant intent and 2. whether you or the person sponsoring you will be able to take care of your expenses in USA.

9. You stayed with your sister last time?
No, this time i will be staying with my sister. Last time I stayed with my uncle and aunty in Texas.
10. Your VISA has been approved, you may go now
      Thank you Sir.

I had read each and every document 3 times from start to finish. memorized important information so that i dont fumble or waste time or loose eye contact while answering. Practiced interview 6-7 times so that I am confident while answering the interview questions. Thanks to immihelp, the entire process went as expected.

Regarding Tourist visa documents
Hi
I am planning to apply for a tourist visa to USA for my son's graduation in December 2012. I have a question regarding the relationship certificate. When my son applied for the visa 2 years back he did not include his elder brother ( who is married and living independently). But now can we include him as well in the relation certificate so that it will show close ties of us in our home country ?

Will this be like fraudulent because my son mentioned only three of us (with out my elder son) before ? Please reply...

Poor Communication at Amrican Consulate Hyderabad
I attended interview on 24-AUG-2012 for B1 visitors VISA. I was put under administative processing 221 (g). Nearly two months past, there is no info. The only information available is at [email protected] is `The current Status iof the Pasport is in Transit from Post.. No body is available to explain what this means. I was asked to log-in to www.ustraveldocs.com and I was given user ID and password. Nothing comes there. It looks like some new system is introduced at Hyderabad Consulate and nobody is bothered to check whether it is effective. My appeal is that US Government and American Consulate should see that the system is more trasparent.
