Visitors visa was approved for my Parents-in-law today 04/21. Only 3 questions were asked to my father-in-law

Visa granted at Chennai on 20 th April, 2005 in second attempt..
My parents attended for interview on 20th April and have been granted the visa ( Not yet sure of the tenure).
We have prepared all the documents as per the guidance of Immihelp.com.
We have sent all the probable questions which were very well rehearsed by my parents.
There were few common questions to my mother like..
What is your daughter-in law doing??
How many children do you have??
Where is your son working??
Thats all...they were told they ahve been granted visa...
I thank one and all of Immihelp.com and also all the people who share their valued experiences..
Be patient and don't get dis-heartened eventhough you fail to get visa....keep trying...You will be lucky one day..

Is spouse eligible for visitor visa?
I am working in OPT as full time employee and even filed H1-B for this year. However my wife's Visa was rejected twice (as dependent on F-1 for F-2). I can't get my H1-B till october. Can my wife apply for Visitor Visa? Is that advisable?

Appointment is not available till August,2005
I was trying to take an appointment to my parents at chennai consulate , its been giving the calendar till august and totally full no available dates, why they r not giving the other months,then how long should we check this way am not understanding, please could you help with any information regarding this.

Thanks a bunch to Immihelp. I had sent all the docs as specified and my dad meticulously arranged all docs in order and was well prepared. To their pleasant surprise, the american officer spoke in chaste thamizh and asked a couple of questions to my dad
1. Where were you working? (He is retd now)
2. Have you been to US befor? (Once)
Both my parents went in together. he didn't ask any questions to my mom. My dad couldn't believe!
I filled up the online appointment for them. I made a mistake in the pincode. My dad had to fill up a form at TT Services to correct the address. They will get the PP/Visa soon from TT services.

i was refus visa again
Hi,
i just want u all to know that i was refus visa Again, my friend send me a letter of invitation to the state for about 2 years now. i 1st apply for Non-Immigrant visa 1TH DEC 2004, i was refus inlagos.
my friend told me to apply again, i really do. i have interview with th embassy 7th April 2005. i was interview by a Girl, she ask me that i was yeah b4, i do say Yes, I WAS, that is 1TH Dec 2004, but i was refus that day, she now ask me why in am going to the state, i told her that i am going for visit and to see sight too. she ne told me nto wait for some one, she ne take my passport and my FORM to the window, i ne wit for about 7min, A men now come, and ask me why iam going for USA. i told him i am going for visit and to see sight, he now told me to show him the pic of my friend, i show him all the pic of her and are family and are SS number card,House douument too. he now say why my friend give me all this document, i told him that she want to tell u guys that she can take care of my there.
he now punch the keys of the putter and look for some information about my friend,... i keep looking at him in is eye.
He now say that he cant give me visa.....
for now i am about going to senegal to see my old time friend in senegal i love to apply there, but i got some information that i cant apply in another consular, why?
Also some one told me that u.s.a embassy in Nigeria dont like going young guys visa..... look thos guy are really fool of shit...
Dey think that there country is the best.. really is the best. i just want to see her it is... that all.

Parents got 10yr Multiple in Chennai !
My Parents had an appointment at 4.30pm on 12-Apr at Chennai. Their visas were approved, They got it for 10year Multiple entry. Father is 60+, but questions were asked only to my mom.
1) Who is sponsoring your visa ?
2) How many kids do you have ?
3) Where does your daughter do ?
The Officer then asked them to pay the fee !

J1 visa -refused under sec 214-b
can anyone help me by providing necessary information. I applied for the training program under J1 visa and I had an interview on 7th april. I had all the documents and the consular was satisfied with my papers and answer i was refused under 214-b . i have re scheduled and appoint ment with many more documents which shows lots of ties to india to return home. how fat it is possible to succeed in the second interview. I have good business back up and I am going to take over my father`s business. Can anyone advise me how far it is possible to succeed and get a visa. how do they deal with this. please mail me. I have an interview on 19th april at 7.30 am
