221(G) Tracker

I gave my interview on 17th June where the Visa Office took my passport and told me that my Visa was approved and that I can collect my passport within 5 business days. Later on 22nd I received an email stating I applied for a Visa interview wavier and that they have to interview me. When I emailed them stating I didn't apply for a Visa interview wavier and that I have already given my interview, they replied asking me to come back for a re-interview on 24th June. When I went to the consulate on 24th June at the given time, the officer returned my passport to me along with a 221(g) and told me that I'd receive an email asking for additional details. She told me the quicker I give a reply to that email the quicker they'll be able to start processing my request. I later got an email asking me to fill in an attached DS-5535 form, which I filled and submitted on the same day. Now I am waiting for an update!

Issued DS 5535 even after L1a interview went well. Any one recently got this for H1 or L! and how long it took to get cleared and got an email to submit passport for stamping?

For reference. I am pursuing my master's in Data Science. I previously had a F1 visa for my undergraduate (in CS). May 13 - Went to interview. Very very short. Was asked what I research (I don't). Then the CO typed a bit and gave me the slip. Needed to request a DS-5535. Requested on the same day May 16 - The weekend passed. Received the form. Filled it, sent it. Got automated confirmation email. June 19 - No updates. CEAC still says refused. Last update is still May 13. Is this normal? Do I have anything to be worried of?

2/08/2022 - Refused under 221g. Only asked to fill out form sent by email, no other documents requested. 4/23/2022 - Still waiting, called NVC Processing and they confirmed they received DS5535 and visa is still in admin processing. 5/19/2022 - Still waiting, 100 day anniversary! 5/22/2022 - Passport Requested (Coincidentally right as my Senator's office reached out to embassy inquiring about my case 🤔) 6/2/2022 - Case switched from Refused to Administrative Processing 6/12/2022 - Issued

I have the following doubt please do comment if you know anything about this or have gone through the same situation "The visa officer who took my interview told me the visa has been approved and he kept my passport and handed me green slip which read " your visa application has been approved......" . My interview happened on June 9 in Chennai. Today in the ceac status tracker as I checked it shows refused with big description as follows " A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies ". Can anyone help me understand what is this? They gave me a green slip saying my application was approved after interview "

Hello Gents/Ladies: Our interview date : 18th April 2022 Ceac Status Update : on 22nd April 2022 = "Ready" Ceac Status Update : on 1st June 2022 = "Ready" Ceac Status Update : on 3rd June 2022 = "Ready" Ceac Status Update : on 6th June 2022 = "Ready" Ceac Status Update : on 7th June 2022 = "Ready" Category was EB2 alongwith spouse I am an Indian passprt holder, however my wife is Singapore born and citizen. So, our case is under cross chargeability. Visa officer said, it will take only 2-3 days for admin processing, and there is no need for further documents. We haven't received a single email or mail. Please let me know, if someone is in the same situation, or can provide any guidance. We have contacted embassy two times via email, but there's only one answer saying, "Due to it's under admin process, time can vary. You'll be contacted as soos as the process is done." They replied on 3rd June, "We have alerted Visa Officer about your case. You'll be contacted soon." ( Thank you

I was interviewed on June 1st and was given a white slip and was asked to send DS-5535 details. I am yet to send the details but i am little nervous. Does anyone have any experience of this?

F1 to H1B COS: Dropbox date: May 11th, 2022 CEAC status changed to 'Refused' on May 26th, 2022 Received an email to collect documents on May 27th, 2022. Got a white slip asking for birth-related documents, school records, and details about my research work (As I work at a national lab) along with my passport. Date of interview and document submission: June 24th, 2022 (Chennai VAC) Does anybody face/faced a similar situation? I am trying to know the processing time as I have to immediately get back to the US as my work cannot be done remotely. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Background: I have a masters and a PhD in Aerospace engineering, and I have gotten 221G two times previously. May 04 : Interview, documents sent on the same day May 17: Last case updated, still refused Passport status in cgfederal changed from " passport is till with consulate" to document delivery information May 23:Last case updated, Administrative processing May 24:Last case updated, Administrative processing May 26:Issued May 27: Got my passport ( Got clearance on May 19) ------------------------------------ Based on my previous experiences, it took 3-4 weeks for my F1 visa.
