EAD through marriage
On April 17, 2015 USCIS received all my document to start the process to become a resident (I-485). On May 22 I had Biometrics appointment
And that was the last time I heard from USCIS on my status. On July 9th I contacted USCIS to request that my case to get the work permit/EAD (I-765) be expedited. On July 14th, the case was approved and card was sent into production. Today, I received the Approval Notice in the mail (I-797) but as far as I am concerned, I still need to receive an email saying the card was mailed. Is that correct? Does everyone get this email/status update on line before receiving the card? I am really anxious to get this card since I already have a job lined up and they are waiting for me to start. I was on an H1B visa before, but I quit about 1 month ago so that is no longer valid. I need this new card to start working!

Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to receive the card in the mail after receiving the approval notice? Did everybody got the update of the card being mailed out? Anything else that can be done?

Thanks!!

EAD renewal experience
Hello!

I am on an L2 visa, and my original EAD is expiring on Aug 6, 2015. I got my renewed EAD in the mail today, exactly a month after I sent my application!
Here's the timeline of status changes-

June 16 - Mailed my application for EAD renewal (paper application)
June 17 - Case was received by USCIS (got the receipt notice in the mail less than a week later)
July 9 - Case was approved
July 15 - Card was mailed
July 16 - Card was delivered to my home address

My advice to applicants/ future applicants - don't be disheartened by all the bad experiences you read on this forum. Just hang in there and keep hope alive, sometimes you could get lucky. Also, I think sending them a copy of your old EAD card and acceptance notice (if you are applying for a renewal) along with all your other paperwork definitely speeds up the process.

Cheers!

           interview scheduling"

QUESTIONS: 1. Up to now I have not received any mail/letter for the interview scheduling. Should I be worried?

Expedited EAD Denied ,what to Do ?
To All who can help and suggest :

My expedition request which I submitted on 7/2/15 denied today on 7/10/15 and the reply was :

"Although your situation appears pressing, the evidence you provided did not satisfy the following guidelines:

*Severe financial loss to company or individual;
*Extreme emergent situation;
*Humanitarian situation;
*Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States;
*U.S. Department of Defense or national interest situation (Note: Request must come from an official U.S. Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government);
*USCIS error; or
*Compelling interest of USCIS.

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are granted at the discretion of the Director.

We hope this information is helpful to you and regret any inconvenience this may have caused."

My question is what I can do now ? NCS already said I cant fill another SR within 30 days, so what should I do please suggest me :(

I 765 Renewal Delay Experience
My status went to "Card is Being Produced" on June 24th and ever sisnce then it's stuck in that same status. I know that usually once the card is ordered to be produced it takes USCIS a few days tops to make the card, plus a few days to mail. Is anyone else out there in the same boat? By the way the processiong center is Nebraska.

EAD Expedition Inquiry
Hello , I am Faiek . I applied for EAD on Severe Economy Hardship(F1). I applied on 22nd May,2015 . USCIS received my application on 05-26-15. I received I-797C confirmation on 2 9 th. (Althought it came at my place on 5-6-15) . I raised an expedition request calling the national cc on 6-29-15. The agent was good and she give me a ID ,which I don understand for what . I have a sense she was typing wrong my email address .although she said it will be notified me within 7 days. I am curious as for the last 35 days my case status was showing and still showing " Case Was Received". So my inquiry is what I can expect with this Expedition request and what is that ID for ? It will be great if someone an tell me in details.

Thanks,
Faiek

EAD L2 Delay
Hi, Applied for EAD on 25th MArch.

No update till date, created tickets .. they closed. below is the repsonse. Really worried, are they saying I have to wait additional 60 days. Dont know what to do. I need to start job over here.

Service records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you haven’t received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

Work authorization due to economic hardship
I don't really know what to do or is it normal??

I applied for work authorization due to economic hardship. I am an international student.
May 28th: Sent application form i765 to Dallas lockbox facility.

June 1st: usps tracking says delivered

June 10: I didn't hear any news(no email notification or receipt notice, I called western union money order to see if the money has been taken and they said NO.

June 16: After being passed around by rude uscis call agents , I finally got a good guy who told me my application was rejected and returned June 5th due to incorrect fee. I mailed a money order of $385 instead of $380
I got the receipt number from him instantly.

Today June 22nd: I still haven't gotten the returned application and supporting documents back. The receipt number says it was sent back June 5. I am scared it is lost in transit since there's no tracking number.

Has anyone ever experience ?? Is it normal ? Will the rejection affect my application later ? I live in Houston and I don't think it should take this long to get back to me. It is more than 2 weeks now.

I need urgent reply because I need to start working by August. I also heard that economic hardship are denied in most cases. Has anyone passed through this stage before ? I need somone to reply urgently
